We hate killing things, but we live out in the woods and the mice invade our space at least once a year. We put up with a lot, but when they start destroying the plants we sell, we have to draw the line. They treat the poison pellets like acorns and store them. We find them tucked all over the place. So we had to get serious. I baited two traps last night as a test, and got two mice. It was a quick execution and not messy. They did not agonize. I'm sorry they had to die, but they have the whole wide world outside, why do they have to come poop every where and dig in our plants? Sorry, but not sorry. Great trap. Easy to set up, easy disposition.

We bought a house where the prior owner obviously had a mouse problem. After putting out enough poison to probably kill 10,000 mice (and it was eaten!), I ordered these traps. We actually baited the traps with the poison we already had on hand. It took less than a week to solve the problem. Actually, we even caught a small snake in one! The thing I like most about this trap is that it basically operates like the classic snap trap, but easily pinches open (like a chip clip) to set, and you grab it by that same end and pinch it back open to drop the mouse out of it. Your hands never get close to the mouse. They're also fairly loud when they go off, so you're aware if you are anywhere close. We've left a few out in the highest traffic areas, and moved some around to other areas, such as the garage, to try to catch any future ones before they move in. Fantastic mouse trap!

Safe and easy to clean which is a bonus because you will be cleaning them. Not a single misfire - if it was closed a mouse was in there.

These traps are the bomb:) Easy to activate...Easy to discard pest after kill. I'm going to buy another few dozen to give as gifts.

I made the mistake of ordering what I thought were the same as these traps and I was very wrong. 1/3 of the traps were defective, the plastic was cheaper and broke.

I ordered a case of these, also the little tube of attractant. Works real slick. On the second day I found a mouse snapped. I just opened up the trap over a trash can, then replaced the trap in a mouse run. The bait remained undisturbed, ready for the next customer. There are now few as I am also using FASTRAC. Rodent type evidence is now very slim. It is now the fall of the year and the little critters are beginning to seek warmth and food. So, I know I am not finished with this project. But, they will be.

I have been using these traps and they work well and are very simple to use. Both rat and mouse are excellent.

When I first received the traps I set three of them, baiting with peanut butter. The next morning the peanut butter had been eaten out of all the traps. I re-baited and the next night the same results. I looked at the way the trigger worked and realized that how you set it determined how sensitive the trap was. That night after setting them to make them sensitive two out of the three traps caught mice. I am very pleased with the results of these traps and would recommend them to others. They do not play with the mice.

After two days we caught a rat! We have regular pest control service and we called them to send someone out. He checked it out and said, "You probably got the one that was in your home. That's a cool trap. May I see it?" So, I gave him one. When he came back this week, he said he showed it to fellow employees and they were impressed, too. He said we wouldn't find one that good at Home Depot!

These traps work great and keep on working. I have been able to re-use multiple times and still catching mice!

The title says it all, I really like how the bait container can be removed from the underside of the trap for easy removing and refilling. The technician suggested that I use a piece of a cotton ball soaked in vanilla extract, because the mice seemed to be able to devour the peanut butter without triggering my previous traps. I had no luck with that, but when I used peanut oil (you know, the oil that separates from your peanut butter) I had great results. YRMV (Your Rodents May Vary).

man had a small infestation of mice and this little traps come in handy with some peanut butter. I place a whole bunch all over and then caught 4 in the first night of setting them. easy to use and they work.

A dab of peanut butter and does the job. Critters never get to the prize as the hair trigger snaps the jaws closed.

No worry about snapping your fingers while loading this trap. Easy to reuse. Best Mouse trap I've ever used!!
