    After feeding plants with Miracle-Gro Garden Feeder where do I discard the blue water that is inside?
    A

    Any remaining blue liquid inside the Miracle-Gro Garden Feeder is the rest of your fertilizer solution. It is best to use a full container at once so that you do not lose potentcy in any remaining product.

    When starting with a jarful of 1 1/4 pounds of Miracle-Gro, you will have 50 gallons of food. 1 jarful will cover 500 square feet of garden area or 1000 square feet of lawn. Recommended water pressure is 40 - 80 PSI. The feeder dispenses at 4 gallons per minute (1 gallon every 15 seconds).

    Where can I find Miracle-Gro Garden Feeder gasket?

    When spraying the Miracle-Gro Garden Feeder, there is no blue color and the jar is not emptying. This is my second one that doesn't seem to be working.

    After following the directions and when I turned the water on, the water ran clear and never turned blue. What could the issue be?
    When I turned on the water, it came out of a little hole in the top of the handle first but all I ever got out of the sprayer was clear water. I used it anyway for about 15 minutes. When I took off the top, the water inside was very blue. I don't think it ever came out.

    We apologize for any issues you may be experiencing with the Miracle-Gro Garden Feeder. The Miracle Gro Water Soluble Lawn Food that is to be used with the Miracle Gro Garden Feeder is a blue crystalline product and when diluted with water it will have a blue tint, fading in intensity as the product is used up.

    If the water is not mixing with the crystalline product properly than we would recommend contacting the retailer where the product was purchased or contact Scotts directly at 888-270-3714 for troubleshooting.

    How do you open the Miracle-Gro Garden Feeder?
    A

    Miracle-Gro Garden Feeder is opened by unscrewing the top off and filling it with the feeding product to desired amount. Than you squeeze the trigger until its full with water it will begin to feed.

    The feeder won't shut off the water. It continues to keep running after the trigger is in the off position. I've only used this feeder about 10 times. I even changed the (3) washers. Do you have a solution? I use this product for feeding both flowers & garden.

    How can Miracle-Gro Garden Feeder give equal amounts of feed if the reservoir pot is being continuously diluted during use?

    The Miracle-Gro Garden Feeder dispenses a gallon every 15 seconds. The water gets fed into the feeder and then cycled back out through an internal syphon on the inside of the cap which allows for proper feeding.

    does the miracle grow hose end speayer have a plastic straw to distribute the firtilizer with the water? when i buy the unit it will not distribute the firtilizer.

    No, there is no internal tube in the Miracle-Gro Garden Feeder. There is no need of one with this feeder, as the water gets fed into the feeder and then cycled back out through an internal syphon on the inside of the cap.

    How long can you leave crystals desolved in the feeder. The instructions do not say
    I poured the 200g trial sachet in but did not use it all up in the first feed - can I leave it until I feed shrubs again in 2 weeks ?

    Yes, per the manufacturer's recommendation for the Miracle-Gro Garden Feeder: If you choose to stop feeding before all of the plant food in the Garden Feeder has depleted, the solution can be stored in liquid format and be used during the next feeding.

    What is the water pressure required for proper spraying of Miracle-Gro Garden Feeder?
    The water stays blue for far more than 10 to 12 minutes. My hose is 60 feet long so I fear that the length of the hose drops the pressure too much for correct ratio to be put on the plants.

    We apologize but we have never heard of any specific pressure level required when using the Miracle Gro Garden Feeder, and most homes should have enough pressure for the unit to work correctly. Since we have not had this happen before, we would recommend you contact the manufacturer of the item as they may better be able to assist you with that type of information.     50 sq ft flower garden how much Miracle-Gro Garden Feeder and time applying flowers mainly daisy's?

    According to the product label for the Miracle-Gro Garden Feeder, 1/2 lb. of product will cover 200 sq. ft., therefore, 0.125 lbs. of product would cover 50 sq. ft. of area, which would translate to 2 oz. of product.  We would recommend applying in the morning or late evening when temperatures are cooler.

    Miracle-Gro Garden Feeder delivers the accurate amount of water and product when applied as directed so there would not be an option to apply just water. If wanting just water, remove feeder to water direct from the hose.

    Can Miracle-Gro Garden Feeder be used with a natural seaweed based fertilizer? If so, how much should I use?
    I want to use Envil SeaFeed extra which is a liquid feed. I would normally dilute 15ml per 4.5 litres of water. What amount would you recommend to use with this feeder? Thank you

    The Miracle-Gro Garden Feeder can not be used for liquid fertilizers and is made to be used with water-soluble plant foods, which would be a solid granule concentrate. According to the manufacturer, a 1 lb packet of plant food should make approximately 40 gallons of solution to cover 400 square feet, and it would dispense in 10-12 minutes. The feeder will dispense 4 gallons of solution per minute (about 15 Liters).

    How do you stop the leak on the yellow part where the solution comes out of the Miracle-Gro Garden Feeder? Not at the hose connection.
    I have purchased 2 miracle grow feeders both leak at the yellow connection not the hose connection

    water is not filling and mixing with the dry miracle grow
    when i turn the water on to the feeder it seems the water is bypassing the jar with the fertilizer in it. is there a feed setting?

    According to the product label: 
     
    Attach the Miracle-Gro Garden Feeder to the hose and turn on the water. Feed - Squeeze trigger. Once the jar has filled with water, it will start feeding (15 seconds per 10 sq. ft). Refill: the feeder when the powder is gone. See the table below for the amount to use. IMPORTANT: The jar comes already filled with Miracle-Gro Water Soluble All-Purpose Plant Food for your first feeding. Remove the plastic seal on the lid of the jar by unscrewing the sprayer head and peeling off the seal. Feeder must not be used with insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, or other brands or types of plant foods. Foliar feeding of indoor plants is NOT recommended. For Lawns: follow directions according to the Miracle-Gro Water Soluble Lawn Food label.

    How do you get the Miracle-Gro Garden Feeder top off to refill?
    Screw on and off? I cannot get it to turn.
