Product Overview

Monterey Lawn Fungicide RTS is a liquid fungicide that contains myclobutanil as its active ingredient. This fungicide prevents and cures foliar diseases seen on turf. It can be used on lawn areas and for all species on turf. Controlling major lawn diseases is the primary use of this fungicide, leaving turf looking healthy and lush. The application may done when the grass begins to turn green in spring or when signs of disease are showing on turf and can be repeated every 2 weeks as needed. Lawn Fungicide RTS comes in an easy-to-use, ready-to-spray bottle that connects to a garden hose-end and will cover up to 3000 sq. ft.

Directions For Use:

  • FOR HOME LAWN USE ONLY.
  • Keep pets and people other than applicator off treated areas until spray has dried.

When To Use:

This product is highly effective when it is used to prevent diseases or applied at the first sign of disease. Start treating when grass begins to turn green in the spring or when signs of diseases are first noticed. For best disease control, treat every 2 weeks.

Restrictions:

  • Do not apply more than 13 treatments per year.
  • In Nassau and Suffolk Counties in New York State, do not apply  more than 3 times per given area per year.
  • Do not treat lawns during periods of stress, (i.e. heat, drought, flooding, insects, excessive fertilizer, herbicides or pesticide use, etc.)
  • Do not apply when temperatures are above 85 degrees Fahrenheit as injury to lawn can occur.
  • If it rains before product has dried, reapply.
  • If you need more information, contact your local County Extension Service.

The type of fungus in your lawn that is treated with Monterey Lawn Fungicide RTS will depend on when you see results. Generally, you will see results within two treatments, however, this will depend on your lawn health, irrigation, etc. Be sure to re-apply as the label states if necessary.
