    Q
How long after applying Monterey Liqui-Cop is the application rainfast on roses and can this be applied if nighttime temps drop down to freezing?
Temperatures dropping down to freezing at night (20-30 degrees) and raining off and on throughout the daytime with temps around 40-50 degrees. Should I wait until temperatures do not drop down to freezing to apply?
    A

Monterey Liqui-Cop should be applied when rainfall is not expected for atleast 24 hours to prevent the wind or rain from washing the application per the product label.

For timing recommendations and the affects of freezing temps during application, we would recommend contacting your County Extension Office in your area.

  • Asked by Jim from Cumberland, Md
    06/02/2021
    Q
I've mixed Monterey Liqui-Cop and not used the full mix. Can I use it in a second spray 10 days later?
    A

Monterey Liqui-Cop should be used within 24 hours of mixing, which would also apply to almost all products on the market that start out as concentrates and are mixed with water. The longer solution stays in the tank, the more it breaks down to no longer be effective, and can also eat away at the seals and gaskets of your sprayer to cause it to no longer work effectively.

  • Asked by Dani from Huntington Beach
    11/15/2020
    Q
Can I use Monterey Liqui-Cop for fungus on a staghorn fern?
    A

Without knowing what disease you are treating for specifically we could not tell you if the Monterey Liqui-Cop would work on the problem you are facing on the Staghorn fern, or what would be the correct mixing rate or retreatment interval would be. You are welcome to try the suggested ornamental rate on the label which is 2 teaspoons per gallon of water, and reapply every 7-14 days to see if this helps. We highly recommend getting the disease properly identified so you can be sure you are treating correctly.
