INFORMATION
The control of diseases with fungicides is based on PREVENTION. Plant surfaces must be completely covered with the fungicide to successfully prevent infection. Copper pesticides are considered preventative, not curative of plant diseases. Use the highest indicated rate when disease incidence is high or expected to be, depending on rainfall and temperature. The lower rate is suitable for general preventive sprays under normal conditions. Since weather conditions and disease incidence vary, consult your Agricultural Extension Service for timing and initial application.
PRODUCT INSTRUCTIONS
Seek advice on identifying specific disease problems and solutions from your local Agricultural Extension Agent or other knowledgeable persons. Partially fill the spray tank/container with water. Add the desired amount of LIQUI-COP and continue filling the tank/container. If applied with other products, add LIQUI-COP last. Agitate the tank during mixing and application until tank is empty. A plastic or metal stirring stick should provide adequate agitation.
Great Product for Veg & Tree Diseases
By Donna on 11/03/2016
I've used this for diseases on pecan, Magnolia fuscata (Banana Magnolia), fig, tomato, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, peppers. Works great if you catch it on time. I first started buying the pints, then finally found quarts. Use as directions state, usually 3 Tbsp per gallon.

Disappointed
By Steve on 08/01/2020
You could not provide the quantity of product I desired. I got one bottle not one case. Other product could not be shipped to Oregon, which is just weird because every garden and landscape store locally carries the product, just at a higher price. (Dormant Spray Oil) So let me know when I can re-order Liqui-Cop by the case.

Good Prevention for Tomato Wilt
By Hugh on 07/22/2022
I mix this product in a hand-held sprayer and apply it after each rain. This helps protect the plants from early death due to tomato wilt. I can keep my plants producing until first frost. It is a relatively cheap solution for tomato wilt.

I'm using Liqui-Cop for early blight on tomatoes. I don't want to ingest the spray residue. Will it safely wash off of tomatoes?
According to the manufacturer, your tomatoes can be harvested 4 days after your last application of Monterey Liqui-Cop and they will be safe to eat once you wash them thoroughly.

We spray our trees with LiquiCop and would like to start bee hives on our property. Will this product hurt the bees?
There should be no problem using Monterey Liqui-Cop in an area where there are bees. We would advise avoiding spraying directly to flower blossoms or during times when pollinators are present as the direct spray may have toxicity to bees or other insects if contacted directly.

Yes, Monetery Liqui-Cop is labeled to treat Black Spot on rose bushes. Apply as a thorough coverage spray using 2 teaspoons of LIQUI-COP per gallon of water. Begin application at first sign of disease and repeat at 7-14 day intervals as needed. Use shorter interval during periods of frequent rains or when severe disease conditions persist. Do not apply more than 460 tsp. of LIQUI-COP (0.46 lbs. metallic copper) per 1,000 sq. ft. per year.
