The Monterey Take Down Garden Spray RTU is a ready to use dormant and growing season insecticide spray which is specially formulated to provide a broad spectrum control against insect pests like aphids, beetles, whitefly, caterpillars, mealy bugs, plant bugs and more. It contains natural Pyrethrin and Canola oil which helps kill all stages of listed insects including their eggs. This liquid formulation can be used on fruit and nut trees, ornamental and shade trees, vegetables, houseplants, flowerbeds, etc. and may be utilized until the day of harvest. Comes in a 32-ounce ready to use spray bottle.

Take-Down Garden Spray-RTU will kill exposed aphids, beetles (colorado potato beetle, flea beetle, japanese beetle, asparagus beetle), caterpillars (gypsy moth caterpillars, tent caterpillar, diamondback moth larvae, leafrollers), ants (except fire ants, harvester ants, carpenter ants, and pharaoh ants), mealybugs, mites, leafhoppers, scale, thrips, fungus gnats, whitefly, adelgids, plant bugs, sawfly larvae, psyllids, spittlebugs, and phylloxera.
For use outdoors:
Use on fruit and nut trees (apples, cherries, peaches, pears, nuts); flowering, foliage plants; corn; melons; tomatoes; vegetables (beans, cabbage, cucurbits, peas, potatoes); figs; small fruits (grapes, strawberry, raspberry); citrus; ornamental and shade trees (birch, evergreens, holly, oak).

What is Take Down Garden Spray-RTU?
Take Down Garden Spray is a blend of natural pyrethrin and canola oil. The pyrethrin gives excellent insect knockdown and quick control. The canola oil acts like a horticultural oil and controls insects by suffocation. It will also control insect eggs. This product combines the useful characteristics of both ingredients into one very effective insecticide combination.
What sizes and formulation is Take Down Garden Spray?
Take Down Garden Spray is .5% pyrethrin and 89.5% canola oil. The concentrate is available in pints and quarts. Take Down Garden Spray RTU is the Ready-To-Use formulation of these products, designed to be used directly out of the container. It is packaged in a 22 oz spray bottle.

It can be used indoors, outdoors, and in greenhouses, on fruit and nut trees, vegetables, grapes, strawberries, citrus, houseplants and all forms of bedding plants, flowers, trees, and shrubs.

What precautions should I use?
Test by spraying just a small area before using weekly. If using outdoors and the temperature is expected to be about 90° F or above, apply early in the morning or late evening after it has cooled off. Applications to citrus after October 1 may increase the tree's susceptibility to cold damage during the winter.

Monterey Take Down Garden Spray RTU comes in a ready to use (RTU) formulation, so it does not have to be mixed. The shelf life is 3-5 years from the date of purchase if stored at room temperature.
