CSI Mosquito Mist Ultra does not provide any residual control to continue to kill insects. It can make an area repellent for 24 hours or so.
Yes, Mosquito Mist Ultra can be applied with a handheld sprayer. According to the product label: To apply this product using low pressure hand sprayers or other similar equipment, for the control of mosquitoes on resting or aggregation surfaces, mix 0.126 oz. (3.73 ml) in one gallon of water and apply sufficient spray to dampen the surface - approximately 700-750 square feet of treated area. Use equipment that is capable of delivering an even distribution of the labeled rate over the treatment area.

CSI Mosquito Mist Ultra is not labeled to be used in a misting system. We would recommend using Sector as it is a water based insecticide that can be used in automatic spraying systems, ULV foggers, mosquito misting systems, cattle barns, animal quarters, dairies, poultry houses, warehouses and more. Sector does have a short residual effect.
