Roach control requires a combination of a residual insecticide, a roach bait and an insect growth regulator (IGR) along with repeat applications every 10-14 days. After speaking with the manufacturer of MotherEarth D Dust, they have verified that it is not recommended to apply this item by raking into the grass are but to be used in a hand duster applying to the affected areas where in the insects are active.

A dry dust like MotherEarth D is best used indoors in wall voids and cracks and crevices. Dust like this will not be effective once it gets wet, so you do not want to spray over the top of dust placements. Since this is a dry, powdery product, we recommend using sprays or granule baits for outdoor pest control rather than dust.
