Customer Reviews for Musca-Stik Jr. Sticky Fly Trap - 12" long

I bought 10 of these sticks because of a bad fly problem we've been trying to get under control. Our colt now has to have weekly injections because she is allergic to fly larvae! UGH ! I bought these as a last attempt to control the problem and they work fantastically...they catch so many flies I need to change more often than expected, so it becomes a little pricey and I have to alternate which serves no purpose.

Really great product that really works and at a really great price! I will order these again and other products again. The shipping was a little slow. I honestly thought it must have gotten lost somewhere en route. It probably took close to three weeks to get from GA to UT. Everything else was perfect!

I was hoping it would attract more flies. It doesn't do a bad job but I thought results would be a little better. It does attract Japanese beetles and wasps, which is a plus. Waiting for the dreaded Yellowjackets to emerge in late Summer, as I saw on YouTube, they love this thing.

Be very careful if you have birds in the garden! We had Oriole fledglings and attracted by the orange color got stuck on there and trying to get off, injured his wings and we had to careful remove it but the damage was done. I felt so bad for the birdie! Needless to say the traps went into the garbage!. Maybe the color could be changed so that hummers and orioles do not get attracted!

I had zero results for drain flies. Not one. May work well for other pests, but useless for drain flies.

It is SO incredibly sticky and the most effective fly trap we have EVER used! As soon as the flies start pestering and biting we get one out. A little bit of smelly stuff attracts them. Then as more flies are caught, other flies hear the buzzing and check it out... We can completely fill the entire tube so that very little orange shows within 2 days. MY ONLY COMPLAINT about this product is that it is a danger for butterflies, bees, preying mantis and hummingbirds. We have a tall narrow waste can that we lower trap into and suspend it to help protect other "good" guys from being caught - there is NO way that we could ever successfully rescue them.

I bought a 12 pack last Year. after seeing a Youtube video and how well it performed, especially with yellowjackets. They work like a charm. Last year it attracted everything from flies, locusts, cicada killers, bald faced hornets, mosquitoes, and of course yellowjackets. No birds, but one honeybee last year, and two ladybugs this year. Works like a charm.

Super great at attracting flies. Down side is that you have to buy so many. I also didn't know it had images of dead flies on it til I opened the box! I thought it was just orange.

I place these on my apartment porch to mitigate the flies, and they Work! (I've hung the Fly Trap bags by the trash cans, which Definitely helps!)
