Since snakes only eat live prey there really isn’t a way to use a live bait in the Tomahawk Small Snake Trap with Extension Wings - Model 460  as it could escape so there is no reason to use a rodenticide in the trap.

Per the manufacturer it will also not catch a snake 5 feet or bigger, for large snakes Tomahawk recommends the Tomahawk Snake Trap with Extension Wings - Model 460XL
