Neutralize Spray Tank Cleaner is a powerful and safe way to remove pesticide residues from your spray equipment. It effectively cleans and removes pesticide residues left by 2,4-D and sulfonylureas, residues that are hard to remove and extremely active at low rates. Neutralize has passed extensive corrosive testing. It is non corrosive to humans and is safe to use on all internal and external areas of spraying systems. Neutralize helps prevent damage to rubber plastic and other soft sprayer parts.

Economical spray tank cleaner
By Nate on 06/17/2020
This is one of the most cost-effective tank cleaners, and works quite well. The can specifies 1 pound per 100 gallons; I have written on the cover a more convenient conversion for small tanks, 3/4 tsp / gal. If using a 5-gallon bucket with the Chapin 6002 sprayer, fill the bucket with water to around the 1/2 gallon mark and use "a dash" of Neutralize. Then recirculate the solution (spray back into the bucket) for a few minutes or until the sprayer slides consistently smoothly. It can help to remove deposits by rotating the handle within the sprayer to different positions. You can also unscrew the nozzle to flush any debris lodged inside it. You should empty the bucket and flush with clean water at least once before storage, as the cleaner is alkaline.

Will this help with residue and build up from spraying products like Bifenthrin to control mosquitoes? I use a STIHL backpack mister and notice if not cleaned regularly, it cakes up and makes the blowers leak. Thanks!
Yes, Neutralize Spray Tank Cleaner can be used in a mist blower to remove any chemical residual from insecticides. It just also works great on 2,4-D and sulfonylureas that are harder to remove
