I have laminated floors and vinyl tiles throughout the apartment. Every day I throw cat treats or put some treats inside cat toys so the cats get some interactive exercise. My question is, would it be safe for them to eat the treats off the floor once the solution is dry or should I mop before i give them treats like this?
Precor IGR Concentrate should only be applied to cracks and crevices around rooms with hard floor surfaces, you do not need to broadcast it across the entire area as it is not very habitable for adult fleas. You should also be vacuuming the areas thoroughly every day or at least every other day. Keep in mind, IGR’s have no killing qualities when used alone and must be tank mixed with an insecticide labeled for fleas as an indoor application.
