Only Precor IGR's molecules move to the places pre-adult fleas live, like the base of carpet fibers and between furniture cushions - in short, the sources of a flea infestation. Precor IGR targets fleas in the egg and larval stages of development. As a result, pre-adult fleas cannot produce new infestations of breeding, biting adults. PREVENTS ADULT FLEA EMERGENCE FOR 7 MONTHS.
For control of active flea infestations, this product works best when combined with an adulticide such as Suspend SC or Demize E.C. which will help to provide quick knockdown of adult fleas.

Precor IGR acts on the immature stages of a flea’s life cycle. Flea eggs deposited on or flea larvae crawling onto treated surfaces will not develop into adult fleas. Existing adult fleas and flea pupae are not affected and thus, Precor IGR Concentrate is generally used in conjunction with an approved insecticide labeled for adult fleas. Effective, long-lasting indoor control of pre-adult fleas - up to seven full months. Mix with water to make 1 gallon of finished product. 1 oz.
To prevent infestations before they start, apply PRECOR prior to flea season.
When applied to surfaces where fleas are found, such as carpets, upholstered furniture, and pet sleeping areas, PRECOR prevents adult flea emergence for up to 7 months. Controlling fleas on pets is important to prevent introduction of adult fleas indoors. If fleas are a problem on pets, treat the pets with an effective EPA registered flea control product.
METHOD AND RATE OF APPLICATION
Prepare a diluted spray solution with a final (S)- Methoprene concentration of approximately 0.007%, by adding 1 oz of PRECOR to 1 gallon of water. Partially fill the mixing container with 1/2 gallon of water, add PRECOR, shake well, and then add the remaining 1/2 gallon of water. Shake well before each use. When tank-mixing, follow the directions above except add the product to tank mix first, agitate, and then add PRECOR, agitate and complete filling of spray tank, and agitate once more. Apply at a rate of 1 gallon of the diluted spray solution per 1500 sq ft of surface area with any low pressure sprayer with a fan tip that is typically used for indoor applications. Treat all areas harboring fleas, including carpets, furniture, pet sleeping and bedding areas, and throw rugs. Treat under cushions of upholstered furniture. Avoid contact with treated surfaces until dry.
When applying to upholstery where staining could be a concern, apply dilution to a small inconspicuous location to determine if possible staining could occur. Generally, PRECOR will not stain areas that would not be stained by water alone.

Precor IGR Concentrate
By Jc on 07/24/2011
Had used Precor IGR Concentrate some years ago but it became unavailable at any of the outlets in this area. Precor is probably the absolute most effective product for the control of fleas. The area here is having a sand flea epidemic/infestation due to migration of sand fleas because of the severe drought conditions. It took three applications of Demize EC and Precor IGR to finally render the house flea free. The first application was a mixture of four ounces of Demize and two ounces of Precor in two gallons of water. The second and third application were done with two ounces of Demize and one ounce of Precor in one gallon of water. This was done on three successive Friday mornings. The fleas gradually disappeared, and haven't seen any fleas since.

Precor cure!
By Zac on 08/15/2010
I bought this stuff as backup. I used a bunch of the Precor foggers along with some Ultracide to get rid of the flea issues I was having. They took care of the problem. I bought this stuff just in case I needed it. Precor does the job, folks! Fleas have been bad in my state this year. EVERYONE has had fleas. EVERYONE! I gave 2 bottles away for people to try. They used this as the IGR (like box states) and then used cheap store brand foggers to kill the adults. They also agree, this stuff works good for the non-adult stages.

Flea Control
By Dagmar on 08/01/2011
I ordered this after I found an empty bottle left by a pest control company that I had been paying every month, but cancelled because I was not happy with their service. I looked Precor IGR up on the internet and was very pleased to know that I could order it myself and do the pest control. I already knew it worked and was happy that I could save money by doing it myself. I liked the free shipping and the customer service rep. was very helpful. I am glad I asked about the existing adult fleas as this product does not deal with that issue. She directed to another product to mix with Precor IGR and I am happy to say, both products work wonderfully. After my initial investment, I will be saving money and be free of fleas and ticks.

I know you said Precor IGR is safe after it is dry. I have only hardwood floors in my house. Will it harm my dog who lays on them, even when it is dry?

I need to treat 2 bedrooms, living room, and kitchen. I don't have anyplace in the house to stay while waiting for the product to dry, so I've got to find someplace to go. The length of time it will take to dry will affect my choice of place to go.

I read that methoprene (Precor IGR) is not toxic to humans. And it is found in some foods. I got this all over my body even in my hair and did not wash it off. What is the worse thing that could happen to me? Will I go bald and my skin sag?

My wife is strict about useing insecticides in the yard or house. I just wanted to get started with an IGR outside which I thought would really help with fleas in the yard in a few weeks.
