    Can I apply Opti Amine 2,4-D Amine Herbicide to corn to kill weeds?
    I plant a 1/2 acre of sweet corn. I could spray this product over the entire field when corn emerges will this work

    According to the manufacturer you should wait a minimum of 45 days before planting clover in areas that have been treated with Opti Amine 2,4-D Amine Herbicide.

    How long do I need to wait to graze my horses? Also how many acres will a 2.5 gallon jug treat?

    Wait 7 days before allowing animals to graze. Depending on the weeds you are treating for, you would be able to treat 5 to 10 acres with one 2.5 gallon jug of the Opti Amine 2,4-D Herbicide.

    How much 24D to add to a 12 Gallon tow behind sprayer.

    The Opti Amine Herbicide has a wide usage label and the amount of product you will use is going to vary depend on what weed you are trying to control and what area you are treating in and around. Also, keep in mind that with herbicides the amount of water that is used is not what is important. You just need to make sure you get the correct amount of 2,4-D over the correct amount of area, the water just acts as the carrier not the diluter. So if you have an acre to cover with a broadcast spray, you could mix however much the label states for an acre in 15 gallons, or 100 gallons and both are correct as long as you are getting the amount of actual product per acre correct. Please review the Opti Amine Product Label to see what usage rate is correct for where you are treating, and note that if you are using it in edible vegetation areas, there are harvest restrictions.

    How effective is the Opti Amine 2,4-D Amine against Dollarweed?

    Opti Amine 2, 4-D Amine Herbicide is labeled for and will work very well to treat dollar weed. Dollar Weed is also known as Pennywort, which is how it appears on the product label.

    Will Opti Amine 2-4-d Herbicide kill Spatterdock and Tussock Torpedograss?

    Opti-Amine 2,4-D is labeled to treat Spatterdock but not Torpedograss. We do carry Nufarm Polaris Herbicide is labeled for both Spatterdock and Torpedograss. Plese refer to the product label for specific application instructions and guidelines. You may also contact your Master Gardner in your county for assistance is product recommendations.

    Per the Opti Amine 2,4-D Amine Herbicide product label this product should not be applied on Southern grasses such as St. Augustine.

    Wil Opti Amine harm bermuda? I've been told conflicting information.
    Is this safe to put down on our bermuda lawn? Also, is it okay to spray it when the ground is still damp from rain?

    Will Opti Amine 2,4-D be effective as a pre-emergent for crabgrass?

    Opti Amine 2,4-D Amine Herbicide is a post-emergent herbicide for broadleaf weeds that will not provide pre-emergent control for crabgrass or any other weeds. For the best crabgrass control, you want to apply a pre-emergent in the spring. Please visit our pre emergent crabgrass control page.

    What is the mixing rate for Opti Amine of 37.30% 2,4-D, for spot treatment of wild grapevines?

    The Opti Amine is not specifically labeled to control/kill grape vines. However it does state multiple times that if you are wanting to harvest or keep grape vines to not spray this across the plant as it could cause serious injury.
