Osmocote Blend 18-5-12 (5-6M) is controlled-release homogenous fertilizer that features Quickstart formulation for general purpose application on foliage, nursery plants, flower beds, and landscapes. It has 18-5-12 NPK formulation combined with essential micronutrients to provide nourishment to your plants and enhance their growth. It contains 100% resin-coated N-P-K nutrient granules, combined with uncoated prills and STEP Hi-Mag granular micronutrients. The uncoated water-soluble granules quickly release important nutrients which help establish newly planted plants and flowers, while the resin-coated nutrient cores absorb moisture and feed the plants slowly within 6 months period. It is great for quick greening applications, as well as to neutralize the nitrogen draw of green bark. The STEP Hi-Mag helps improve the balance of trace elements so it can maximize plant development. Product can be incorporated or surface-applied and it provides longevity of up to 5-6 months. Comes in 50 lb. bag.

I have trees oaks, roses and during the summer tomatoes, jalapeno peppers and eggplants.
Osmocote Blend 18 - 5 - 12 (5 - 6M) is labeled to be used in nursery stock, foliage, flower beds, and landscapes. It would be best to be used at the peak growing time of the plants which would be around spring time for most plants.
