Read Full Answer »Osmocote Plus Standard 8 to 9 Months 15-9-12 Fertilizer is for use in greenhouse, nursery and foliage production, container gardens, interiorscapes and landscapes, though it does not list it is for use on roses.  We do have other Rose & Flower fertilizers that might better suit your needs depending on the nutrients needed.
