DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

For best results apply when turf is actively growing; however, when weather is extremely hot, it is best to delay or reduce fertilizer applications. Use in accordance with recommendations from a qualified source, such as, but not limited to a university crop extension service, agronomist, or apply according to recommendations in your approved nutrient management plan. Water into the turf soon after application. DO NOT APPLY BY HAND.

SPREADER SETTINGS

Spreader Settings are intended as a guide in adjusting fertilizer application equipment. Different product analysis and/or partial sizing will affect the bulk density and spreader requirements, so always calibrate your spreader. Individual spreaders should be properly calibrated to adjust for difference in walking speed, terrain, and equipment conditions. Calibration should be done prior to product applications in the desired area. To calibrate a spreader, place the proper amount of fertilizer for 500 square feet into a spreader and apply to a 500 square foot area (50 ft. x 10 ft.). Adjust the spreader settings accordingly. We recommend that the spreader be cleaned and lubricated after each use. These spreader setting guides are for standard size blends only - do not use these settings with "green grade" or micro-prilled products.

Do not apply near water, storm drains, or drainage ditches. Do not apply if heavy rain is expected. Apply this product only to your lawn, and sweep any product that lands on the driveway, sidewalk, or street, back onto your lawn. Check with your local Cooperative Extension Agency to obtain specific information on local turf best management practices. Check with your county or city government to determine if there are local regulations for fertilizer use.
