I Mowed my Lawn on Christmas Day
By Jc on 12/25/2014
Excellent results..Done a soil analysis and found in above average shape. Only recommendation was 34-0-0, Sept, Nov, & April. The Nitrogen IN 34-0-0 is easy to.use with a spreader set to 3, 3/4, for 10,000 sq ft per bag The Nitro dissolves very quickly, if grass is already wet, but i still wet the grass down very well with a hose set on a fine spray like mist afterward just to be certain.. Today is Christmas day, my lawn is the greenest in the entire town, and it needed cutting This 34-0-0 is fabulous, it does a great job, it was recommended to me and i will also. Be certain its dissolved, wear a mask as it is a chemical, than sit back and enjoy it. Photo's are available taken today if desired This Nitrogen also has additional help for stronger root growth, so your receiving help in 2 different ways. Thank you

Just What I ordered
By Toby on 07/21/2014
UREA fertilizer is useless because it evaporates into the air almost immediately. By advertising this fertilizer as 34-0-0, you are attempting to trick the customer into thinking this is ammonium nitrate. UREA fertilizer is 44-0-0. I don't give my business to companys that try to deceive customers.

Can you define the percentages of both fast and slow release nitrogen available in the product?
Per the manufacturer the breakdown on the Pennington All Purpose Nitrogen Fertilizer 34-0-0 is as follows:
10% Ammoniacal Nitrogen (Ammonium Sulfate)
24% Urea Nitrogen
Both of these nitrogen sources are pretty much fast release and need to be incorporated into the soil and /or watered in well after application.

Need to know what to set the spreader on and Scotts Spreader is not listed.
We don't have the exact spreader setting for your model spreader. The easiest way to determine the correct setting to apply Pennington All Purpose Nitrogen Fertilizer 34-0-0
is as follows:
If you need to use 1.15 lbs of product per 1,000 sq ft, then you would add 1.15 lb of product to spreader, start with a medium setting, then apply product to a 20 x 50 ft area (1,000 sq ft). If you have product left, your setting is too low. If you run out of product, your setting is too high
