Pennington One Step Complete Sun and Shade Mulch North that combines grass seed, fertilizer and mulch. Formulated with Penkote technology to guarantee plant growth and grow in sunny and slightly shady areas, the product repairs bare spots with disease resistant grass within two weeks or less. (Depending on proper growing conditions). Just remove any debris, rake the soil to loosen, and smooth the top layer. Then, spread the seeding mix approximately 1 cup/sq.ft. where grass is desired, and beautiful, thick grass will start to grow in 7-14 days. Water the soil daily until the grass sprouts and reaches 3 inches tall. The combination of Smart Seed grass seed, fertilizer and mulch turns darker when enough water is applied to the grass. Once it dries, it turns back to a lighter color, indicating the grass' need for water again. For repairing damaged grass: Spread the seeding mix approximately 1 cup/15 sq.ft. everywhere healthy beautiful grass is desired. Comes in 5 lbs and 8.33 lbs sizes.
