Pennington Rackmaster Deer Greens is a combination of annual kale, turnip, and rape, that provides an generous amount of leafy green plants that are highly attractive to deer in both the fall and the winter months. Added by hunters in small quantities (2 lbs per acre) to provide an attractive and fast growing component to a their fall mixture of clover and grass. The sugar content in Rackmaster Deer Greens becomes more concentrated after a frost making it even more tempting. This product works well by itself or added as a great addition to a mixes. Easy to grow on any soil type. 100% brassica mixture.

First year planting

This was my first year planting this mix. I must say i was very impressed, It is now march and there is still plenty of forage. The germination rate was very good and plenty of leafy green and the deer hammered them! got a lot of good trail cam pics in this plot.
