Pennington Sunrise Primo Perennial Rye Blue Tag TQ is a blend of high quality perennial rye grass that offers exceptional turf grass coverage for permanent coverage or for overseeding warm season grasses. The premium perennial rye grass varieties used in Sunrise Primo include Applaud, Integra, and Jet. Sunrise Primo is Penkoted to protect the seedling from fungus at germination. It also protects against soil and insects and stimulates growth. This product is endophyte enhanced to further protect against diseases, insects, and stress.

The Pennington Sunrise Primo Perennial Rye Blue Tag TQ can be used in sun or shade areas of the lawn. Keep in mind all grass typically needs at least 4-6 hours of direct sunlight to thrive. If the area you plan to plant the seed gets less than this you may want to consider trimming limbs and branches back to allow more sunlight in the area, or go with a slightly more shade tolerant grass type such as fine fescue. The best way to determine what grass seed would grow and establish well in your area would be to speak to someone at your Local Master Gardener center for what will thrive in your weather and environments conditions.
