Permethrin SFR will not kill maggots. For maggots, try and locate the source of the maggots and clean and eliminate the breeding site for the flies. Permethrin SFR would be applied with any standard pump sprayer across carpet after mixing with water and following the instructions on the product label.
Permethrin SFR 36.8% is recommended to be used when the grass is dry, however it can be used when the ground it a little wet from the rain but the wet ground will make the product take longer to dry. Please let us know if you have any other questions
Permethrin SFR 36.8% can be applied to indoor cracks and crevices when the children and pets are not present. They can return once the treated areas are completely dry. Depending on the mix ratio used and how heavily you sprayed, it could be anywhere from just as the product has has had time to dry, or several hours after application before the smell of the Permethrin SFR completely goes away. If the odor is objectionable, then you may want to consider switching to a water-based insecticide, rather than an oil-based one. We would recommend using Permethrin SFR 36.8% at the rate of 1 2/3 oz. per gallon water for ticks. It would also be a good idea to incorporate an insect growth regulator (IGR) such as Archer IGR for complete control of ticks.

We would not recommend Permethrin SFR 36.8% for a bed bug treatment because they can easily grow resistance. We would definitely recommend something more like Temprid SC because it has two active ingredients that actually work against bed bugs that may have resitance to other products. Neither Permethrin SFR nor Bifen XTS can be applied to furniture. Bifen XTS is also not able to be applied to carpets inside so would not be recommended for inside flea control. Nyguard Plus would be a better option as it can be applied to upholstered furniture and other areas, it also is an odor neutralizer and contains an IGR (insect growth regulator) which is highly recommended when treating for fleas.
