PestXpert Foaming Insect Killer should not be used as a broadcast on wood floors or carpet, only as a spot or crack and crevice spray. It should not cause any damage to flooring, however, if you have older or sensitive stains, then you may want to test an inconspicuous area before making applications in more visible areas.

PestXpert Foaming Insect Killer is labeled to kill Cockroaches, therefore it can kill German roaches as well and it will leave a residual in the areas that are treated. It can be applied to cracks, crevices, along and behind baseboards, beneath and behind sinks, stove, refrigerators and cabinets. However, because German roaches can multiply in large numbers, we wouldn't recommend relying on only one product. We would instead recommend to start out with the Roach Control Kit A because it contains a bait gel as well as Gentrol Point Source Stations which helps to stop juvenile roaches from being able to become reproductive adults. See our How to Get Rid of Roaches article for more information and tips and our Prevention Guide article for tips regarding preventative measures you can take.
PestXpert Foaming Insect Killer is not labeled for carpenter bees and would not be recommended for them. If you are treating holes it would be best to use a dust like Tempo 1% Dust in the holes applied with a hand duster. We also have a great guide here for treating carpenter bees.
PestXpert Foaming Insect Killer is labeled for ants. Its water-based formula is released through micro-capsules to kill on contact and keeps killing for up to 4 months. You would want to make sure your pet's food dish is emptied, washed and dried after each meal. All food, spices, etc. should be stored in air tight containers as well. If you are finding trails of ants indoors, then we would recommend our Indoor Ant Kit which includes two types of food baits with active ingredients that get transferred throughout the ant population to eliminate the whole colony. Please refer to our Ant Treatment Guide for more tips.
