PT Cy-Kick CS Aerosol is a crack and crevice residual insecticide that is to be sprayed to kill disturbing pests. There will be a film left over to continue working for weeks. The aerosol formulation of Cy-Kick CS is made for commercial and residential areas to be applied as a spot treatment or as a crack and crevice treatment indoors and outdoors. The broad label of Cy-Kick CS Aerosol includes an array of treatment sites that will be encountered everyday in residential and commercial accounts, including food-handling establishments. The microcapsules provide an elevated level of protection and, on many surfaces, extend the residual life of cyfluthrin- ultimately controlling pests between treatments. Cy-Kick CS Aerosol controls many common pests including ants, roaches, spiders, beetles, boxelder bugs, carpet beetles, crickets, earwigs, flies, mosquitoes, millipedes, scorpions, silverfish, stored product pests, ticks, and more.
Shake well before using. This product should only be used when can temperature is above 60 degrees F.
Both Cy-Kick Aerosol and Cy-Kick CS Aerosol contain the same amount of Cyfluthrin, however the CS Aerosol formulation has more of a foaming effect and has different labeling due to its micro-encapsulated formulation. Be sure to read the product labels to determine which product is best for your application needs.
Cy-Kick CS Aerosol is a ready-to-use pressurized insecticide with the active ingredient Cyfluthrin. Cyfluthrin is a synthetic pyrethroid made to mimic the effects on insects of naturally occurring pyrethrins, which are derived from the Chrysanthemum flower. Cyfluthrin attacks the central nervous system of target pests that come into contact with the direct spray or dried residual of Cy-Kick Aerosol.
Cy-Kick CS Aerosol uses SmartCap technology in its micro-encapsulated formulation to enhance residual effectiveness and durability on porous surfaces. Microencapsulation also creates optimal sized capsules for insects to pick up easily and quickly, leading to faster diffusion of the active ingredient into the exoskeleton of the pest.
Cy-Kick CS Aerosol is a ready-to-use pressurized formulation of the popular insecticide concentrate Cy-Kick CS. This aerosol is ideal for residential, commercial, and industrial applications when a micro-encapsulated product is desired as a crack and crevice, spot, or void treatment. Cy-Kick CS Aerosol can be used in sensitive areas such as food handling establishments, school, modes of transport, and hospitals. Use Cy-Kick CS Aerosol for easy, quick, localized treatments of a wide variety of common crawling and flying pests. Cy-Kick CS Aerosol is also one of very few aerosols that can be applied to shrubbery and vegetation for treatment of mosquitoes.
Both Cy-Kick CS Aerosol Cy-Kick Aerosol contain the same active ingredient, however Cy-Kick CS Aerosol will have more of a foaming action and is labeled for different applications. For example, only Cy-Kick CS Aerosol is labeled for mosquitoes.
Shake well before use. Use with the supplied actuator and injection tubes or other aerosol equipment. Flying Insects: Treat outside surfaces of screens, doors, window frames or wherever these insects may enter the room. Also treat surfaces around light fixtures on porches, in garages, and other places where insects light or congregate. Treat normal fly resting areas such as ceilings, upper corners of the area, around windows and doors, light fixtures and other surfaces known to attract flies. Hold can 1 - 2 ft from target surface and apply at the rate of one 20 oz can/250 - 375 ft2 of surface area. Treat so as to lightly moisten the target surface. For best results, initiate treatment at the beginning of the fly season and repeat weekly during periods of heavy fly activity. For mosquitoes, treat shrubbery, vegetation, and other areas where mosquitoes may rest. Shrubbery and vegetation around stagnant pools, marshy areas, ponds and shorelines may be treated, but direct application of this product to any body of water is prohibited.

Put it this way, its labeled for crack and crevice so watch how cockroaches run and dance when you zap them with this kick a__ cs, in their crack, you also need to flush them out with a little help using CB-80, also spray a Permethrin down for them to run over as they bounce outta your house and a use a respirator, unlined rubber gloves goggles long sleeve, boots, flashlight ect ect the price gets up there so you'll have to hire us anyways to keep the price down. Read the label and don't get cy-kick in your eyes this is the real deal holyfield stuff use eye protection happy hunting.
Great product, decent knockdown with good results. Faster knockdown would earn a 5 star but Works well against German cockroaches, and just about everything else I encounter with my clients. Rarely do I need to retreat anything after using this product.
I was a PA certified pest control specialist for 5 years and used Cy-Kick for crack and crevice treatment. I currently use Cy-Kick CS Aerosol to treat pantry meal moths. The product has been very effective because it kills the larva that escape the aerosol treatment. I recommend it highly. Chuck B, South Carolina
What's the difference between Cy-Kick CS aerosol and Cy-Kick aerosol?
The Cy Kick CS aerosol actually has more of a foaming action as it disperses from the can during application, where as the Cy Kick is more of a true aerosol spray for cracks and crevices. We hope this helps, please let us know if you have any other questions.
Frightening house centipedes running randomly in the house now and then. I want to get rid of them for good. What is the best residual product to kill house centipedes? Must be safe for indoor use. I don't know where they are coming from.
Please see our Centipede control page. Cy-Kick CS Aerosol will work great applied to cracks and crevices indoors. You also want to apply product outdoors too, so that you creat a barrier against them. Talstar would be a great product to apply. You want to spray 2-3 feet up and out all the way around the perimeter of your home. Also, window frames and door frames. Be sure to focus on areas they are attracted to in the yard: leaf piles, mulch, shaded areas.
With or without using the straw, as I spray the product (holding the can upright), simultaneously lots of foam gathers on top of cap even getting on my hand, and it drips in dollops to the ground. I make sure to shake the can before use. I've tried to hold the can in different directions but it happens no matter how I hold the can. This is messy and also a waste of the product. Any suggestions? My goal is scorpion and roach eradication. Would the non-CS Cy-Kick Aerosol be as strong on these pests as the foaming version? If the CS is better, is there a better way to apply the spray in order not to lose foam so that it only comes out of the straw? Thank you.
Yes, both Cy-Kick Aerosol and Cy-Kick CS Aerosol contain the same amount of Cyfluthrin, however the CS Aerosol formulation has more of a foaming effect and has different labeling due to its micro-encapsulated formulation. What product can I safely use in kitchen area to get rid of weevils?
Pantry pests such as weevils can usually be controlled by a thorough cleaning out of all infested products and scrubbing of the infested areas (pay special attention to cracks and crevices) and then applying a residual insecticide such as Cy-Kick Aerosol to the cracks and crevices and also an insect growth regulator such as Gentrol Point Source to the cabinets. Unfortunately there is nothing that will affect the eggs, but the growth regulator will help stop the breeding process. It can take a couple of months to fully eradicate a pantry pest infestation.
