    Q
trying to kill bandboo from growing back
    A

Peters Professional Acid Special 21-7-7 would not help in eliminating bamboo. Bamboo is very tough to kill and will take repeat applications using a non selective such as Roundup QuickPro

Bamboo stalks should be cut and apply the non selective herbicide directly to the fresh cut stump.

    Q
    Very high water alkalinity
My shallow well water is 8.5-9 pH. Will the acidic nature of this product harm my regular vegetables if my water pH is that high?
    A

Generally speaking, if the pH of a fertilizer solution and/or surrounding media is too high or too low, the result can be slow, weak, and malformed growth.  Extreme levels of acidity and alkalinity (pH) can cause some nutrients to become toxic, even killing plants.  However, in this case, we would recommend contacting the manufacturer of Peters Professional Acid Special 21-7-7  directly for product support and clarification by either calling them at  1-800-492-8255 or by visiting their website's contact page here.
