Pets and carpet beetles

I have cats and dogs. I have an infestation of what I think are carpet beetles. My animals have them in their fur and they are all over my house, furniture, beds, clothes, bedding, car, and on me. I'm desperate!!! Does anyone know how to get rid of them on my animals?
