    Q
Can Premise Granules be used as a pre-slab treatment application?
We are looking to do treatments in the winter in Iowa, and need something that won't freeze. Will this work instead of a liquid termiticide? Thanks
    A
Unfortunately not.  Premise granules are not a substitute for a termite treatment and they are not labeled for pre-treatment.  Premise granules are only a supplemental treatment to an already installed termite treatment.  Only liquid termiticides are labeled for pre-treatments under slabs.  Of course some states have approved baiting systems as a full termite treatment and don't require liquid treatments under the slab if you install a baiting system.

    Q
Same as the Bayer Bioadvanced Termite Killer or better?
Is this the same as the Bayer Advanced termite killer or more powerful? Bayer seems a bit better deal 9 lbs vs 3 lbs.
    A

Premise Granules leaves a residual that termites that back with them, that allows you to get rid of more termites. Where Bio Advanced Carpenter Ant & Termite Killer Plus Concentrate only affects those termites that came in contact with residual, they do not take it back. Neither of these would be our top choice for termite control. Below is our guide on how to get rid of termites with our recommended products
