    Q
Should Prime Source Azoxy 50 WDG Fungicide be watered in?
I applied this with a backpack sprayer calibrated for 2 gal of water per 1000 sq ft and mixed according to the label at low rate for turf. It seems to have injured my centipede grass. Will supplemental irrigation after application prevent this? Trying to get it right on round 2!
    A

Prime Source Azoxy 50 WDG Fungicide must be mixed with water and applied as a liquid solution. It does not need to be irrigated further after the application has been made unless the product label states to do so for the specific disease you are targting. We recommend to hold any lawn watering for the next 24 hours at least.

    Q
I am wondering if I am dealing with a case of powdery mildew that has become resistant to class 3 fungicides
in the triazole family. Will using Azoxy 50 a class 11 fungicide with a different mode of action work on the powdery mildew that has already become resistant to class 3 fungicides?
    A
Yes, you can use Select Source Azoxy 50 WDG Fungicide to help treat the powdery mildew. We recommend switching classes every two sprays. For example use the one you are currently using for two sprays and then use Select Source Azoxy 50 WDG Fungicide.

    Q
OK to use in a backpack or hand sprayer?
I have previously purchased the Azoxy 2SC liquid and would like to purchase these WDG granules instead. Are they compatible in a typical backpack or hand pump sprayer? I am not intending to use a hose end sprayer.
    A
Yes, you can use Prime Source Azoxy 50 WDG Fungicide in a hand pump or backpack sprayer. This is a water-dispersible granule, so just be sure to agitate your tank well during mixing and again if there are any interruptions while spraying. You can review the full product label and instructions here.

    Q
Is Prime Source Azoxy 50 WDG Fungicide effective for treating dollar spot?
    A

Prime Source Azoxy 50 WDG Fungicide does not control or prevent dollar spot, per the product label. You would need to use an additional or alternate fungicide to treat dollar spot, such as Ferti-Lome F Stop Lawn Fungicide Granules or Fame Granular Fungicide. We have more tips in our Dollar Spot Treatment Guide as well.

    Q
Can Prime Source Azoxy 50 WDG Fungicide be applied using a hose end sprayer?
    A

It is not recommended to apply Prime Source Azoxy 50 WDG Fungicide with a hose end applicator as it is hard to regulate the water volume being used. For best results, it is recommended to use a pressurized handpump or backpack sprayer to ensure a sufficient amount of water is being used evenly per 1000 sq ft.
