Strobe 50 WG is a professional systemic fungicide that can be applied preventatively and can clear existing diseases away easily. It is a wettable granular compound to be mixed with water for a sprayed solution. Strobe 50 WG will stop the disease in its tracks, regardless of what stage the disease is in at the time of application and is absorbed by the plant's crowns, leaves and roots. Strobe 50 WG Broad Spectrum Fungicide is comparable to Syngenta Heritage and is just as effective. This stuff is expensive upfront but is actually not bad per application (especially when you consider how expensive it is to hire a company to treat it) and works very well. Azoxystrobin is a great mix partner with propiconazole to prevent disease resistance. Since Using this product every 25 days I have not had any fungus in my lawn even with prime conditions for disease development. Fungicide is worth the cost.
Is Strobe 50WG need to be watered in or does it have a rain fast window?
Strobe 50WG does not require watering in after application and the label states runoff of this product will be reduced by avoiding applications when rainfall or irrigation is expected to occur within 48 hours.
Can Strobe 50WG be used every 14-28 days for the entire growing season or do I need to alternate the azoxystrobin with other fungicides to prevent resistance to one fungicide ingredient?
Depending on what fungicide you are trying to prevent by using Strobe 50WG, you will either make 2 sequential appliacations or 3 sequential applications. Pleae refer to the DIRECTIONS FOR APPLICATION FOR TURF DISEASES Table on page 11 of the product label. ?If treating for Gray leaf spot and Pythium spp. control, do not make more the 2 applications of Strobe 50WG. For all other diseases when Gray leaf spot and Pythium spp. are not present, do not apply more than three sequential applications of Strobe 50WG.? Eagle 20EW Specialty Fungicide would be a good fungicide to rotate with Strobe 50WG.
