Pro Care Phosphorus Free Lawn Fertilizer 28 - 0 - 4 is a highly effective lawn fertilizer perfect for all types of grass. Contains nitrogen, soluble potash, and iron to help the healthy growth of plants, allowing grasses to stay deep green even during months with high temperatures. It is specially formulated to keep lawns from burning when applied as directed. Continuously feeds lawns up to 3 months. This phosphorus-free fertilizer can be applied anytime during the growing season. Apply with a calibrated spreader and make sure to apply starting from the outside and working towards the center, slightly overlapping. Covers up to 15,000 square feet.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Apply one bag of ProCare Lawn Fertilizer evenly over 15,000 square feet of lawn area. Apply with a calibrated spreader (either rotary or drop) – never apply by hand. Check listed spreader settings to apply at the proper rate. Begin application on the outside of your lawn, working toward the center, overlapping slightly to ensure complete coverage. In Florida, do not apply more than once per year.

Note: The spreader settings listed are approximate. It is important to check the calibration of spreader frequently to ensure the spreader is functioning properly and applying the product evenly. To check calibration, accurately weigh a few pounds into your spreader and apply it to a measured area. Then adjust the spreader setting if necessary to ensure the correct rate of application.
Apply only to actively growing turf. Do not apply near water, storm drains or drainage ditches. Do not apply if heavy rain is expected. Apply this product only to your lawn, and sweep any product that lands on the driveway, sidewalk, or street back onto your lawn.
This product contains iron that aids in the greening process but WILL stain sidewalks and driveways. Sweep off any product that may drifted onto these areas.
Important: Always use the recommended setting for your spreader for this particular product as over-application may cause injury to your lawn.
NOTE: We recommend that you keep this product (and all fertilizers) out of reach of children. Avoid getting on concrete walks or drives, swimming pools, or stucco as the composition of certain fertilizer elements can cause permanent stains. Keep in a dry place.
