    Q
If the Pro-Care cost the same as regular Bifen IT, but made from a different co., what is the advantage?
    It should be cheaper
    A

ProCare Bifen 7.9 Insecticide & Bifen IT are both 7.9% bifenthrin products. There really isn't an advantage on one over the other, aside that Bifen comes in more variety of sizes. Unfortunately we cannot speak on how manufacturers come up with their prices

  • Asked by Tim from Baton Rouge

    Q
Your short list on ProCare Bifen 7.9 Insecticide includes fleas, but fleas are NOT listed in the alphabet listed long list. Why is this so?
I have found that spraying Termador (termite treatment) was the only real way to get rid of fleas inside my workshop, where I had rescued some stray cats. Nothing else (much $ money) worked
    A
ProCare Bifen 7.9 Insecticide is labeled for fleas as directed on the product label for both inside (bare minimum areas like cracks and crevices, along baseboards etc not as a broadcast) and outside.

Termidor SC is not intended for use for flea treatment at all and is not recommended for them.  We would recommend Onslaught Insecticide and Archer IGR combo for flea control for both inside and outside areas.

  • Asked by Stephanie from Honolulu Hi

    Q
I have so many problems with cockroaches in my Hawaii apartment. Will this product work?
Will this product work on the variety of cockroaches that we have in Hawaii? I have been told that our cockroaches are resistant to some insecticides. Please advise.
    A
ProCare Bifen 7.9 Insecticide is labeled for roaches however this product would be used more for general maintenance/prevention treatments, not if for active infestations.

For active roaches indoors, we would recommend one of our Roach Control Kits as it will take a combination of products as well as repeat applications every 14 days are required to eliminate roaches.

Advion WDG Insecticide that is in the Roach Kits can also be used to treat the exterior perimeter foundation, windows, doors, plumbing, cracks in foundation walls, etc. View our How to Apply Advion WDG Insecticide for Exterior Perimeter Treatments VIDEO for more information.

    Q
    Spray bottle solution
Instead of having to mix up a whole gallon at a time, does anyone mix it into spray bottles for just small spot application? Just a quick couple sprays without having to pull out the gallon sprayer and pressurize it.
    A
ProCare Bifen 7.9 Insecticide is not intended to be applied via a spray bottle, only a traditional sprayer. If you do not need a complete gallon, you could try making smaller batches.. but they would still need to be applied via a sprayer

Can you mix this product with Permethrin SFR 36.8%?
Target pest mosquitos, gnats, black flies.

Instead of mixing ProCare Bifen 7.9 Insecticide with Permethrin we would recommend alternating them. Both product target similar test so there is really no benefit in mixing them together. Instead you can alternate them on a monthly bases
