    duckweed killer

    By Glenn on 07/29/2011

    Verified Purchase

product worked great. i sprayed the pond to kill the duckweed and in a few days it was gone. Be sure to follow directions on label and add the surfactant (purchased seperately). A little goes a long way. I have a 1/4 acre pond and used about 1/3 of the bottle to kill my duckweed problem which covered 1/2 my pond.

Used on 1/4 acre pond. (in East central Fl)

    By R.i on 05/05/2013

Worked great.....Pond was 90% full of duck weed.....I mixed 1.5qts reward with 30 gallons water. Plus 1cup of Enhance (same as soap) to help float the Reward on the pond surface...... I sprayed 1/2 the pond (using 10 gallons of my 30 gallon mixture). A week later I sprayed another 10 gallons on the remaining duckweed.... That leaves me 10 mare gallons for the diehards....

    Reward

Have been using this product to control Alligator grass and Duckweed as well as other aquatic weeds in my pond for several years. Best I have found. Have used anywhere from 2 - 12 ounces/gallon and found that 4/gal seems to be adequate in most cases. Not harmful to pond inhabitants.

    Duckweed took over my pond

    By Wayne on 12/30/2016

This product works great. My whole pond looked like a golf course. A friend told me about this product. I started using reward and within 24 hours I started to see results. This stuff is amazing. I used 3ozs of reward and 1 table spoon of surfactant per gallon of water. This covers about 1000 sq ft. You should only do about 1/3 of your area at a time, because of the fish and turtles. I find the best time of the day is between 10am and 2pm. I'm so excited to finally have my pond back. I wish I could show some before and after pictures lol. Hopefully this helps

How long should dogs stay out of a pond after using Reward Landscape and Aquatic Herbicide?

We have 1/4 acre pond and I treated 1/2 of it yesterday afternoon. I just wanted to know how long to keep the dogs from drinking it?

Q
Will Reward Landscape and Aquatic Herbicide kill my new Grass Carp 10"?

1/2 acre pond lots of milfoil weeds. I also have new this year bass, catfish, bluegill, and shellcrackers

A

When appliying Reward Landscape and Aquatic Herbicide, you need to be sure not to treat your entire pond all at once. Doing so will probably result in dead fish. Treat about 1/4 to 1/2 of your pond at a time - following the product label, and your fish should be fine. This will certainly take care of the milfoil weeds you have.
