The Anderson’s Fertilizer 18-24-12 48% contains 48% slow-release NS-54 coated nitrogen that will provide growth and nitrogen feeding. The nitrogen is readily and slowly available, which makes it perfect to use during the growing season. The fertilizer will promote root establishment and enhance spring green up. It will also correct any phosphorous deficiencies that may have become a problem in established turf. There is absolutely no dust when applying this product and it is free flowing. The uniform particles are perfect for easy and accurate application. When ground conditions are ideal, apply 4.16 to 5.60 pounds of the product per every 1,000 square feet. Repeat every 6-8 weeks throughout the growing season. One bag covers up to 12,500 square feet at the low rate and up to 8,900 square feet at a medium rate. This product comes in a 50 lb. bag and is recommended for fairways, roughs, and other turf areas.

Great Fertilizer

Had my soil analyzed and had a slightly high PH. My local extension recommended a higher phosphorus for the first treatment. This did the trick and my turf spread like crazy, very healthy looking. I recommend this fertilizer if you're looking to green up the turf and improve the root system.

reseeded my lawn. prepare soil put down seed first, the andersons fertilizer 18-24-12 48% ns-54 2nd, and the andersons organic humic dg soil conditioner 3rd than water in one week seed is growing lawn is beautiful. did all this on 8-31-2020 thank you domyown

Was I surprised

I have empire zoysia and for the last 7 years my goal was to have my lawn look like a well manicured fairway. I used Milorganite to mimic golf course applications but every summer my grass got beat up by the heat and it would thin out. I changed the regimen this spring to Milorganite immediately after dormancy ended and then Anderson on Father's Day. Root growth is amazing as well as deep green color. I added Humic acid On July 4th. WOW lawn is amazing.

Great fertilizer!

My grass looked terrible. Did some research and landed on this one. I can't believe how much better my grass looks. My neighbor even said she was going fire her grass company and order this fertilizer. Super green grass in 2 weeks!! Highly recommend! And the shipping was super fast!

Yes, you can use the Andersons Fertilizer 18-24-12 48% NS-54 with a hand rotary or tow behind spreader you just have to make sure to calibrate it to use the labeled amount. Andersons Fertilizer 18-24-12 48% NS-54 does not specify that it is for home lawns, just states other turf areas. It could be used on your lawn if the nutrients it provides are what your lawn needs.

I am about to put grass seeding all over my lawn that had a lot of bare spots.is it good for starting a new lawn food in New Jersey??

I am wondering if my pets can enter the area after applying this or do I need to water it in and let it dry before they can get on the yard?
Yes, once your lawn has been treated with Andersons Fertilizer 18-24-12 48% NS-54 it can be safe for pets and everyone else to re-enter the treated area. The product will need to have been applied, watered in and the treated area should be completely dry for it to be safe.
