    Auger ( 3 in. x 12 in. -312

    By Ivan on 05/03/2020

Nice heavy duty auger. Worth the money when you want to drill numerous holes in the ground to place termite stations in them. MUST have a heavy duty electric drill to use it with. Much, much faster and easier to use than a posthole digger & drills the proper size hole for the termite station. Also bought the Advance Termite system along with the auger. Currently installing the system now. Shipment was shorted two items. Called them & they were very nice & apologized for mistake. Shorted items were shipped to me same day. GREAT SERVICE !!! Warning when dealing with this company. They will fill up your computer screen with advertising. And the advertising is on the items that you just purchased. I registered a verbal complaint with the company. Didn't do any good. They are very nice people to talk to & seem to be a good company to do business with (except having to put up with all their advertising ).

    Awesome Vegitable Planter

    By Ron on 04/13/2019

I keep 12' wide nursery landscaping material down in my garden area (33'x48'). I haven't tilled the garden in two years, oh and no hoeing either! I was looking for something stronger than a bulb planter. This auger is awesome. I use a 7" long pvc pipe around the auger to cleanly drill my holes and lift the dirt out of the holes without making a mess. Then I put the old dirt in a bucket and fill the hole with potting soil for easy root growth. If your tomatoe cages are big enough for your drill you want even have to take them down either! The plants are jumping! Auger has Hex head and built strong!

    Bulb Planting

    By Gail on 12/11/2021

Hard red clay soil in my yard is so difficult to cultivate that even a fit gardener gave up on creating a bed with his shovel. So, the auger was a last resort for me and worked nicely to plant bulbs. It only took minutes for me to plant 50 bulbs and I am over 70.

    Works Great

    By Kris on 11/11/2022

I have termite bait stations around the house and my dumb dog keeps digging them up. This auger is great for making the holes much deeper and allowing me to reinsert the bait stations further in the ground so he can't get at them.

Q
Will Power Planter DIY Guru Auger (3 in. x 12 in.) - 312 fit inside a 3" pvc pipe?

I want to use it for an experiment to auger water and in reverse, to generate power using water.

A
This auger is 3" itself so it is unlikely it will be able to fit inside of a 3" pipe.
