Product Overview

Allstar Herbicide by Nufarm is a professional-grade selective post-emergent herbicide formulated with a unique combination of four active ingredients—2,4-D, quinclorac, triclopyr, and sulfentrazone—for broad-spectrum weed control. Designed for use on both cool-season and warm-season turfgrasses, Allstar delivers rapid results with visible weed injury within hours of application. Its full load of 2,4-D targets tap-rooted perennial weeds, while quinclorac controls crabgrass and boosts performance on other annual grassy weeds. Triclopyr enhances long-lasting suppression of tough summer annuals and perennials, and sulfentrazone provides reliable nutsedge control.

This versatile formulation controls a wide variety of grassy weeds, sedges, and difficult-to-control broadleaf weeds such as wild violet, Virginia buttonweed, spurge, clover, dollarweed, ground ivy, and oxalis. Allstar is labeled for use in residential lawns, commercial grounds, athletic fields, golf courses, sod farms, institutional landscapes, roadsides, and other managed turf areas. It is absorbed through the leaves and shoots of susceptible weeds, disrupting growth and causing visible symptoms quickly, followed by gradual decline and death of targeted plants.

For optimal results, apply Allstar Herbicide to actively growing weeds at the recommended label rates and spray volumes. Avoid over-application or excessive overlaps to reduce turf injury. Allstar is intended for spot or broadcast applications using calibrated spray equipment. Under certain conditions, sequential applications may be needed for complete control of mature or stress-tolerant weeds.
