Product Overview

Densicor Fungicide is a professional-grade DMI fungicide built to take the pressure out of golf course disease management. Powered by prothioconazole, this Group 3 systemic fungicide delivers broad-spectrum control of major turf diseases while offering excellent cool- and warm-season turf safety when used as directed.

Densicor controls 13 labeled turf diseases, including dollar spot, brown patch, anthracnose, gray leaf spot, Microdochium patch, snow mold, fairy ring, large patch, spring dead spot, summer patch, take-all root rot, brown ring patch, and mini ring. It is especially useful across high-value golf course turf where superintendents need strong disease control, a reliable DMI rotation option, and a low-use-rate formula that fits both fairway and greens programs.

With a single labeled rate of 8.5 fl. oz. per acre, Densicor simplifies application planning and reduces measuring, loading, and rinsing time. One 51 fl. oz. bottle treats 6 acres, making it a convenient option for large-area applications on golf course greens, tees, fairways, and roughs. Densicor is intended for use by professional applicators only and is not for residential turf.

Full Application Instructions

General Application: Densicor Fungicide is for use only on golf course turfgrass, including greens, tees, fairways, and roughs. Apply prior to turf disease development or in the early stages of disease development. Use ground application equipment with the boom below and behind the operator to target soil or foliar turfgrass diseases. Complete coverage and uniform application are essential for best results.

Application Rate: Apply Densicor at 8.5 fl. oz. per acre, or 0.196 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. This rate equals 0.267 lb. a.i. per acre. Use the shorter labeled application interval when prolonged favorable turf disease conditions exist.

Application Volume: Apply Densicor in a minimum of 40 gallons of spray solution per acre. Increase spray volume if needed for uniform and complete coverage, especially when targeting soilborne or crown-area diseases.

Anthracnose: Apply 8.5 fl. oz. per acre on a 14 to 21 day interval. Apply prior to disease development or in the early stages of disease development as part of a preventive disease management program.

Brown Patch: Apply 8.5 fl. oz. per acre on a 14 to 21 day interval. For best results, apply preventatively before conditions favorable for infection occur.

Brown Ring / Waitea Patch: Apply 8.5 fl. oz. per acre on a 14 to 21 day interval. For best results, apply preventatively before conditions favorable for infection occur.

Fairy Ring: Apply 8.5 fl. oz. per acre on a 14 to 28 day interval. Before the spray dries, adequately water in the application to move the fungicide into the thatch and soil where the fungus is active.

Gray Leaf Spot: Apply 8.5 fl. oz. per acre on a 14 to 21 day interval. Begin applications prior to disease development or in the early stages of disease development.

Large Patch: Apply 8.5 fl. oz. per acre on a 14 to 28 day interval. Lightly water in applications to move the fungicide into the crown area and root zone.
