Yes, this restriction applies to all states. Your landscaper can apply Prograss EC Herbicide if they have an applicator's license. You can find licensed applicators by calling professional landscape companies and inquiring if they are licensed applicators.
Prograss EC Herbicide can be applied to Ryegrass in both Spring and Fall but for Kentucky Bluegrass, fall applications are recommended. Please review the Application Rates and Timing on page 5 of the product label for more information and we also recommend checking with your local extension office for the best timing in your area.
Prograss EC Herbicide should NOT be applied to residential lawns by homeowners and it cannot be applied to St. Augustine that has not been established for six months.
Once the Prograss EC Herbicide has fully dried, pets can re-enter the area. Please be aware Prograss EC Herbicide may be applied to residential lawns by licensed or certified applicators. Prograss EC Herbicide is not intended for use by homeowners.
It's recommended not to mow 2 days prior to and 2 days after application of Prograss EC Herbicide.
