Is Pro - Pell Rodent Repellent safe to use around dogs?
We have two large dogs. Can it. E used along the fence and house safely with them.

You can use Pro-Pell Rodent Repel if you have pets. We just recommend keeping pets out of the area until the spray is dry so that your animals do not get the product on them and potentially carry the odors inside your home.

Since Pro-Pell Rodent Repellent is a liquid concentrate that is diluted with water and sprayed, we do not recommend spraying it on or around car engines or similar equipment. You can consult with the manufacturer at 888-401-3134 to see if they feel this is a safe method of application. You could, however, spray this around a parking area or around the outside of a garage to repel rodents from these areas. We recommend using mouse snap traps or rat snap traps on and next to the tires of parked vehicles to help control rodents in these areas.

Its mint odor and unique taste efficiently repel rodents around areas where there is a potential problem. Listed on the label is 'rodents' meaning and not limited to, mice, rats, squirrels, prairie dogs, porcupines, beavers, guinea pigs, and hamsters. These rodents are not listed on the product label, but may be repelled due to oils smells, and may also work on roof-rats.

According to the manufacturer, Pro - Pell Rodent Repellent targets rodents, and may also aid in repelling other pests, but does not specifically include rabbits. The manufacturer's product label instructs to mix 12 oz. of concentrate with 1 gallon of water, and to shake well before each use, then to apply with hand pump or backpack sprayer using a coarse fan spray every 45-60 days. For additional product support, the manufacturer, Guardian Supply Company can be reached by calling them at 1-888-401-3134. As an alternative option, you could also consider using Liquid Fence Deer & Rabbit Repellent, which is labeled to repel rabbits.

Pro-Pell Rodent Repellent is made of essential oils and while considered safe once dry, this is a very oil product that is difficult to remove to surfaces such as vinyl, plastic, aluminum, brick, stone, stucco, decks, etc. You would want to apply to areas where cats/dogs would not be able to lick the surfaces applied. Exclusion is always the first approach to getting rodents to stop getting inside. If rodents are found indoors, a combination approach is recommended using snaptraps/glueboards indoors and then baiting for rodents in tamper resistant bait stations around the exterior foundation of the home.
