Could Propiconazole 14.3 be used on wood in a crawlspace to kill black mold?

No, Propiconazole 14.3 cannot be used in a crawlspace to kill black mold. It is a fungicide that is labeled to be used in nursery landscape, turf-grass, trees, golf courses, and tree injections. Boracare with Moldcare is the only product that we carry for treating mold on bare wood. • Asked by Todd from Cooksville, Il
    05/03/2018
    Q
How long should Propiconazole 14.3 be applied before rain?
    A

It is recommended to water in herbicide and fungicide products like Propiconazole 14.3 because typically they need to get down to the root system, and the main way to do this is to water the lawn so the product can make its way to the roots.  You can also apply more water when performing the treatment for the same effect. If you apply the product before a rain event, that is even better.

  • Asked by Daniel from Columbus, Oh
    06/07/2018
    Q
Can I use Propiconazole 14.3 with Chapin G362 Professional All Purpose Hose End Sprayer?
I am looking to mix 1 fl oz per 1,000 SQ ft. to prevent brown patch. Thanks
    A

Propiconazole 14.3 could be used in a hose end sprayer as long as it can be calibrated to the amount needed.  Since it is not per gallon but per 1000 sqft you will first need to determine how much water it takes you to cover 1000 sqft and then set accordingly.
