This product does not treat or prevent mold. It is meant to remove the stains caused by mold and mildew. This product should be applied to remove the stains caused by mold first, and then you should apply Bora-Care with Mold Care to actually treat the existing mold and prevent future mold growth.
Mold-Clean is the perfect cleaner to apply to remove mold and mildew stains, especially before a Bora-Care application. Mold-Clean will not prevent mold, but will remove staining and discoloration.

Mold-Clean presents a totally new revenue stream for your company.
5 times more effective than bleach alone. Spray it on. And clean up.
Many builders face mold problems in their structures. As lumber sits outside exposed to the moisture, mold begins to grow. The builders know from experience that once the house is dried-in, the mold will disappear. However, homeowners get very upset when they see mold growing on the lumber of their new home.
Mold-Clean is the solution to remove those unsightly stains. Your technicians can keep the lumber in an entire subdivision clean with minimal effort. Mold-Clean is not a pesticide, so it can also be sold to builders for their application.
Mold-Clean At A Glance
Remember, Mold-Clean is a stain remover only and will not kill mold spores. Should both jobs be required, use Mold-Clean to remove the stain and then apply Bora-Care with Mold-Care to kill and prevent mold.
A fact you should know: Neither cleaning or eliminating mold will stop it from reoccurring if conditions remain conducive for growth. The enemy is moisture. Permanently solving mold problems will require fixing and maintaining moisture levels in the home.

Professional grade stain remover
It is the most powerful mold discoloration remover and surface conditioner available. In fact, Mold Clean is five times more effective than bleach alone. It is the only product you need to truly clean a mold stained area with out the intense smell of bleach.
The Science Behind Mold-Clean
Mold-Clean is a cost-effective unique technology that combines a strong oxidizing agent for color stain removal with a high pH tolerant surfactant to help wet surfaces and penetrate wood as an anti-corrosive stabilizer.
In the past, people have tried to use bleach, but its EPA label does not allow this use, it is not good at wetting surfaces and it leaves behind sodium hydroxide, which is very corrosive to metal fixtures and fittings and can damage wood. EPA also does not recommend bleach, but suggests a surfactant or detergent for cleaning mold.
Mold-Clean is the answer and combines all the appropriate properties.
Storm and Water Damage Steps
STEP 1: Remove all wet and unsalvageable building material from the site.
STEP 2: Completely dry the remaining affected areas.
STEP 3: Spray Mold-Clean according to the label application directions on affected material. Reapply and brush if needed to remove stubborn stains.

Not what I thought

I wanted to use this product along with bora care with mold care for a crawlspace . I wasn't aware you need to rinse off the mold clean with water . Nissus actually says power wash it off , not possible in a crawlspace . Overall I'm not satisfied with this product , guess I needed to research it more .

not just bleach
By Joe on 12/24/2012
I'm considering this product, but calling it exactly the same as bleech isn't entirely accurate. Companies only have to list hazardous chemicals on the product label. So, yes, that part of this solution is simply bleach. The difference is that this product at least markets itself as containing wetting agents and detergents. It might not make a difference, but the company is claiming it offers better penetration for wood than bleach (i.e. what wetting agents do). I have bought enough bleach-like solutions to know that some are better than others.

I have mold in a crawl space. I plan to use Bora-Care with Mold-Care to kill it but would like to use Mold-Clean to remove the black stains. The directions state that you should rinse the Mold-Care with a high pressure stream. That is not feasible in a crawl space or attic. Any suggestions?
