Rat bait station
By Steven on 12/08/2021
I purchased a building in Baltimore and the rats ran thru the alley in packs. I watched this for about a year. I purchased the bait stations and poison, positioned them on the fence line and two weeks later the rats were gone.

Always Happy!
By Diane on 12/21/2018
I'm always happy when I realize I need something and then I can buy it from you. I've purchased these Protecta Rat Bait Stations before and they work. My husband just recently threw away a deceased rodent and we didn't have to worry about splatter. Plus with your Terad 3, we don't have to worry about the secondary poisoning. We're using this one in a new location. Many thanks!

Good product, service
By Jim on 09/07/2011
This product was delivered quickly and is very sturdy. I use it with one of those trex-type traps. The rat got my peanut butter! I'm going to set it up again and hopefully the trap will spring. I didn't want to use poison because I didn't want a rat carcass in my yard.

Rat traps
By Lisa on 11/15/2014
Wish the traps locked like the last ones I bought a few years ago.
Expert response:
The Protecta Rat Bait Stations do not lock automatically, but they do ship with a screw and allen wrench and zip ties which can be used to secure the stations. If you prefer a station with a locking mechanism that snaps into place, the Protecta EVO Ambush Stations are quite versatile and open with a simple plastic key: http://www.domyownpestcontrol.com/protecta-evo-ambush-bait-station-p-2690.html

So far, it doesn't seem to be working
By Beth on 01/03/2016
I've been very disappointed. I live in Baltimore and the rat problem here is pretty severe. I had hopes that this might do the trick, but so far, it hasn't done anything. Rats are still burrowing into the side of my foundation and they still seem to be getting into my trash.

Several bits of wire, a screw, etc were included but I really do not know what to do with them. No print instructions were included, and the online video was olnly partially helpful. So I do not know if I need to save those bits. I was disappointed though did depoly the box to keep my dogs away fro the bait.

Dog Resistant

Had peanut butter-scented blocks threaded onto the horizontal rods. My bloodhound tried to get to the “peanut butter”, moved the bait station and had it turned upside down when I found it. Upon inspection, the poison blocks were all still safely in position, on the rods.
easy to use with large bait capacity

had terminex for a while who supplied these bait stations. didnt like that terminex would only reload the bait stations rvery 3 months , so i bought a variety of these for my place along with a tub of Contrax. works well to control norweigan roof rat population around my yard. i bought locking and non-locking variety of these traps. i also bought some that are weighted (i.e. its base contains concrete). i like them all for my variety of needs. never had an animal chew thru the plastic and i have raccoons, rats, bobcats, coyotes, and derr around this area. i dont have a dog, so not sure if they would get into the boxes. btw, terminex only provided locking unweighted boxes and they'd wire the box to a fence post or other object to keep it from moving around.
