The Protect-A-Bed AllerZip Smooth Mattress Encasement is a high end mattress cover that is 100% bed bug proof. It features a three sided zipper with seal that gives total protection from dust mites, bed bugs and allergen. This AllerZip mattress gives a complete allergy free and healthy sleeping environment. The cover has a smooth waterproof and stain proof surface that keeps the liquid away from the bed. It also features the innovative Miracle Membrane that creates a wall and lessens the exposure to allergens. The AllerZip mattress encasement will remain comfortable and breathable even with continuous use. This also comes with a 10 year warranty.
Mattress encasements 9" deep will fit 8" - 11" deep mattresses.
Mattress encasements 11" deep will fit up to 15" deep mattresses.
Twin XL will fit twin mattresses up to 85” in length.

Which size should I get the 9" or the next size up?
The Protect-A-Bed AllerZip Smooth Mattress Encasement 9" deep will fit 8" - 11" deep mattresses, so would be fine on the 10" mattress.

The Protect-A-Bed AllerZip Smooth Mattress Encasement does not have a terry cotton top but instead is the same fabric "membrane" as the rest of the encasement.

We do have the Protect-A-Bed Full Extra-Long (XL) mattress encasement that is 11 inches. This will fit mattresses up to 15 inches deep. We recommend spraying an infested mattress with bed bug control products first before encasing it and then keeping the mattress encasements intact for at least 12 months (bed bugs can live a very long time without a blood meal). The bed bugs and eggs inside will die, and the mattress will be protected from further infestation.

The differences between the Protect-A-Bed AllerZip Smooth Mattress Encasement and the Mattress Safe Sofcover Ultimate Total Mattress Encasement is mainly in the type of material each manufacturer uses. They are both a very effective fabric material cover and contain many of the same features, including being Breathable and waterproof and a locking zipper. The Mattress safe brand been tested by the Fire Protection Agency for the Cigarette Burn (CFR Title 16 Part 1632), and passing so has an of advantage in being fire retardant.
I have a 14" deep queen memory foam mattress. Which encasement should I buy?
According to the manufacturer . Mattress encasements 11" deep will fit up to 15" deep mattresses. Therefore you would need to order an encasement (queen 13"). Please double your measurements before placing the order as the Protect-A-Bed AllerZip Smooth Mattress Encasements are non returnable and non refundable.
