    Q
Is it safe to use Phantom for ant control around my hot water heater and furnace? Thank you.
    A
It is completely safe to use around your furnace and water heater as long as the pilot light is not on during application. The heat from the furnace could potentially cause the Phantom to break down on the surface and not have as long of a residual but it would work great for ant control in those areas. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

    Q
How long should I expect it to take to see results after using Phantom II Aerosol Spray?
After spraying and verifying that ants are coming in contact with it, how long can I expect until I start finding dead ants?
    A

You may not see dead ants immediately after applying Phantom II Aerosol Spray as it is a slow kill so it has time to be taken back to the colony and spread.  How long it will take to completely eliminate ants depends on the size of the colony you are treating and how many colonies you are treating.  You can reapply every 4 weeks but as long as they are contacting the treated area they will die and transfer it back.  You should start to notice a reduction in activity within a few days though.

    Q
Can I use Phantom Aerosol Spray around light fixtures on the ceiling?
I believe there are silverfish and spiders coming out of the light fixtures since I always see them on the ceilings.
    A
You can use Phantom around the light fixture as long as you take care not to spray it directly onto exposed wiring or electrical components as it is a liquid.

    Q
What's the best product for ridding my car of ants?
My assigned parking spot at our apartment complex is underneath a laurel oak tree. Recently, I've noticed black ants that think they've found a new home.
    A
We would recommend using an aerosol product like Phantom along the crevices of the car where they are trailing. The Phantom is a delayed kill so it will get not only the ones that are coming in your car but also any other ants they come into contact with in their nest to eliminate the entire problem.

    Q
Can I spray Phantom II Aerosol Spray into my (empty) dresser drawers?
Then put clothes back in there once the formula dries?
    A

Phantom II Aerosol Spray can be applied to cracks of drawers only (inside edges and along the runners on the outside).  Once dry, you can put clothes back in.

    Q
Is there an effective way to eliminate ant colonies from inside walls?
Maxforce granules and gel have had limited effect. The ants disappear from inside the house for a short time only to return a few days later and in a different location. The ants initially entered the walls (by the billions) through cracks around exterior window frames. Now they're well established inside the walls of the house and they periodically come out into the interior of the house. As spring approaches we're going to have a real problem as the ants begin to swarm, forage for food, and look for water.
    A
Spray Phantom Insecticide indoors along the baseboards and near carpenter ant activity, and then use Termidor SC outside around the foundation of the home as was mentioned above. This will give you the best results for all types of ants.

    Q
Can I spray Phantom and then later on spray Bedlam over the same area?
Can I spray Onslaught and Phantom over the same area at different intervals? There is a small spot area underneath my computer table where the bugs are especially active and probably live between the floor tiles. I would like to spray the Phantom for long-term control and the Onslaught or Bedlam for more immediate control.
    A
You should apply one or the other, but not two in the same place.  All of the products you had mentioned are very good products and it really is overkill to apply two in the same place.  Bedlam and Onslaught may work a little quicker than Phantom and because of this it would not benefit you to spray Phantom over another product.  The Bedlam and Onslaught will kill the bugs just the same, and adding Phantom would not make them work quicker or more effectively.  All of this being said it would not hurt anything to apply Phantom over the same area, but it would not be very cost effective.

IS PHANTOM AEROSOL GONNA HELP ME BETTER THAN BEDLAM ?
I HAVE TREATED THE HOUSE WITH BEDLAM AND ALSO HAVE BED BUG MATTRES COVERS ALSO I HAVE APPLY DIATOMACEOUS EARTH IN THE BED FRAMES AROUND THE BOTTOM OF MY WALLS IN THE CONERS I HAVE TRIED HOT SHOT BED BUG/FLEA KILLER IN THE WHOLE HOUSE I AM IN THE POINT I CANT ANY MORE I JUST ORDER THE PHANTOM AEROSOL FROM YOU GUYS I DONT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO MY LITTLE 3YR IS THE ONLY ONE AND I GETTING BITTEN I WASH MY SHEETS WITH HOT WATER I STEAM CLEAN THE FUNITURE AND EVERYTHING I CAN IS THIS MY LAST AEROSOL I NEED TO USE TO SEE IF THAT WILL HELP?
    A
Phantom Aerosol will leave a longer residual than Bedlam. Bedlam is used as a contact kill and leaves approx a 2 week residual. Phantom Aerosol can be sprayed along the tufts, folds and seams of the mattress and in the bed frame, box spring and along the cracks and crevices of furniture, etc. In addition to using a dust in wall voids and box spring areas, we recommend using Temprid SC around the perimeters of the room. Apply as a crack and crevice treatment to all baseboards, moldings, beneath floor coverings and carpets, closets, shelves, curtains, furniture and picture frames that may provide harborage to bed bugs. Temprid SC can be re-applied every 7 to 10 days as needed.

Can you spray Phantom Aerosol under the refrigerator and sides of the refrigerator? Also along the kitchen baseboard?
    A

Yes, Phantom Aerosol can be applied to those areas, allow time for product to dry before re-entering area. Apply as a spot and/or crack and crevice and/or void treatment where pests harbor, nest, trail, run, and/or breed or hide.
