I was really excited to try this product based upon the reviews I saw online. I have an empty apartment, with no carpeting, all hardwood floors and tile. The apartment is approximately 1100 square feet. Thus one can should have been adequate, but I used two. Fleas were still there a few days later and are still there a few weeks later. Just had to hire an exterminator to finish the job. Not sure why this did not work for me, but I can assure you that it did not work!!!

This stuff sucks! Air freshener would be as effective. I followed the directions completely and resprayed in 14 days. I'M STILL DEALING WITH FLEAS!! Vacuuming is more effective than using this crap. I'm so happy I'm out $36 and still have the fleas!!! It shouldn't even get 1 star.

Used this inside (2 cans in a 2100 sq. ft. home); we sprayed all upholstered furniture--back, sides, under cushions, rugs, drapes, inside closets, etc. Still have fleas. We also used the Talstar P several days later inside and outside; we still are not free of the fleas. It has been over a week and still seeing occasional fleas. Received quickly from your warehouse.

One can only covered 2 rooms for me. I waited for a week but still had the fleas even giving the dog a bath in dawn dish soap everyday. Not sure If I just didn't wait long enough or what but had to end up calling terminex to spray.

Used this along with Precor foggers and D-earth on inside and also applied outdoor flea killer and bathed pets w/ Adams. Fleas back w/in a week

Flea treatments do not work overnight. Over the next couple of weeks you should start to see a reduction in the flea population. We recommend a repeat treatment after 14 days to help get rid of any of the stragglers that may have been missed with the first treatment. Severe infestations may require 3 or 4 treatments in 14 day intervals. If wild animals venture on to your property they can re-infest the treated areas. If you know wild animals frequently visit your property, monthly preventative insecticide treatments should be applied throughout the flea season to prevent infestation. Vacuuming daily will also help speed up the flea elimination. This stuff isn't working for me I bought this based on the reviews. I think the Blue spray bottle of Adams works better. There are Fleas on my concrete garage, bedrooms & living areas with carpet.. I spray, vacuum, flea comb cats, give them drop treatment once a month and capstar for immediate relief and bathe the ones I can. Fleas return.... repeat... repeat... repeat... I am at the point to where I want to either move out or throw everything away and rip out carpets. I can't understand how the fleas are living on the conrete garage floor and won't die. As I spray they are jumping on my legs so I brush them off and spray more. Help me I am living in flea hell!

After hearing great reviews and getting no where with the fleas, we tried PT Ultracide. Bought one expensive can close to home and sprayed the whole house. I used the whole can and we have less square footage than what the can reads it will do so I know I didn't skimp. Bought the second can here and sprayed the house a second time. Still no change in the amount of fleas that I saw! We bought a can of Raid and the next day we saw a difference! I would try Raid first before spending the money on PT Ultracide.

When I pushed down the button to set it off it had no pressure to make it set off and use. It may have been just this can but for the price I paid it should have worker and I would never buy it again.

I wonder who wrote the reviews for liking this product because they are not showing the dissatisfied customers like me. This product did not do anything. I need a product that kills on contact, not spray as I was told and wait two weeks and spray again. I have to live in my house... then they told me to get a steamer and steam my rug. This was a waste of money for me even RAID is better than PT ULTRACIDE. what a joke !!!

This did not work for me and I tried it twice! Very disappointed. After spending money on your products, I have to hire professionals to take care of the fleas! Is there any money back guarantee on your products?

I just started using it and as it takes time to work - I cannot tell you how much success I have had yet? I sure hope it works, Fleas have been very very strong this year in Maine. I will tell you more in the spring.

I had a flea problem with my dog, and this was recommended to me as what professionals use anyways if you hire an exterminator. I bought two cans (good prompt service with free shipping! no problem there) and applied it on a Sunday morning. It involves vacuuming your entire house, removing all pets for 4-6 hours, then spraying. It was easy enough to spray BUT, the sprayer only works in a "down pattern". It seems to diffuse the product so much you can not direct it very well. Also, the can states it covers something like 3000 square feet, which would be doing my whole house once, then half again. In fact, one can BARELY did my basement alone (800 square feet) and ran out totally. The other can was only enough to do PORTIONS of the rest of the house. It has little odor, and disappeared completely by the time we returned 6 hours later. Seems to have worked so far. However, to re-treat the house would actually take 3-4 cans, making it kinda expensive.

I have used this spray numerous times with varying results. On the whole it really works but you need to also purchase and use the treatment that goes on the pet. It needs to be re-applied several times as well.

It's fairly effective stuff, but doesn't totally eliminate the lil devils. Need to spray with the can upside down. Customer service was excellent.

Based on other reviews, I expected more from this product. For something advertised to cover over 2600sf, I only wanted to fumigate 180sf. I went through almost 2 cans, and there are STILL fleas in my kennel. I'm going to try Diatomaceous Earth next. Wish me luck. Disappointed.

Please note that if you used 2 cans of Ultracide in a 180 sq ft area, you are over using and wasting your product. Flea control can take 4-6 weeks because of the life cycle of the fleas. Treatments should be done every 14 days until the fleas are no longer present. I must admit I was disappointed in this product. I bought two cans. My house is 1700 sq ft and it took every bit of 2 full cans. In less than a week fleas were full force, I thought ok, infestation, bought 2 more cans, same thing. I spent 160.00 on four cans with hardly any result. I bought regular flea bombs and have a much better result. I think this product would have worked better if it was in individual cans ????

I purchased because of the reviews I read. I had been having a problem with fleas for a few weeks and tried the typical dog treatments on my pets and used all the insect treatments from granules to commercial sprays around the outside and inside the house with no luck on getting rid of those terrible pests!!! So I saw this product and figured that using this along with the rest of the treatments I had used that it would help eliminate and keep them away for at least 7 months as the product specifies. Yet the fleas are still around. I will say that I do see less of them but I have given it plenty of time to remove them all and I am still having issues with fleas. Has not kept them away as promised. Like I said, I think there are less of them, but one is one too many. Especially when I am getting bit and my wife and son have been bit as well.

THE ONLY PROBLEM WITH UNTRACIDE AND 565 PRO PLUS IS IN A SEVERE FLEA INVESTATION, THE FLEAS BECOME IMMUNE TO THE PRODUCTS. IN FACT, IN RARE CASES, WHEN FLEAS BECOME IMMUNE, THE PRODUCT MAKES THEM GROW MORE AND STRONGER. NOT THE FAULT OF DOMYOWNPESTCONTROL. THE PRODUCTS ARE GOOD. THANK YOU

We ordered this after the exterminator was in our apartment for a flea treatment, using Ultracide. We wanted to have this spray as a backup. Very nice: we requested from DoMyOwnPastControl not to display the name of their company on the package -- who knows, there are always noisy neighbors. They complied: no telling sender address. Great customer service.

I sprayed my carpet, maybe too heavily because I didn't get as much coverage as the label said, but that was ok, I had enough to finish. Now the cats have been defleaed with pills, so I suppose we are all A-ok now. I hope so. If fleas should reappear, I'll head for the Ultracide again, but I think we should be ok now as these are indoor cats.

I hired a exterminator to get rid of fleas in my home after trying everything myself and still having a problem. The exterminator used Ultracide and I ordered a can which was much cheaper than paying him. He suggested we spray again after a week to make sure all the eggs that may have been missed were killed. We did so and haven't had any other problems. The cats are treated monthly and we still have spray just in case the problem comes back. I received my order quickly and was very happy overall.

yeah the stuff works well--make sure to wear a respirator and goggles--takes more to do the sq footage listed -if you want to get all the nooks and crannies , under furniture,beds etc.. my home sq footage is 2400 and I used 5 cans--maybe a lil overboard but i got every where including closets--would buy again
