Our tiny carpeted apartment was infested with fleas. We first tried Diatomaceous Earth (recommendation from local all-natural pet store and great online reviews) but D.E. was like baby powder and it dusted everything in the apartment, too messy and little results (found many live fleas inside the vacuum days after). We then tried Precor IGR to disrupt eggs/larvae but it doesnt kill adult fleas so we combined that with PT Ultracide and boy did it do the job!!! Almost a week of this combination, we had zero fleas trapped in our flea trap and none jumping on my legs (as opposed to trapping over a dozen a night in our traps before applying Precor IGR and PT Ultracide). Even though I did a combination of products, I would recommend first using PT Ultracide and then use Precor IGR if you think you need more/faster help. Lay out flea traps too (dish plate with soapy water under a night light) to gauge flea activity, it really works.

Works Great

Fleas

We have been using Ultracide for many years. We are out in the country with pastures and vacant land. At the first hot day in the spring they seem to hatch. We get them in our offices (carpet) and warehouses. With a quick spray it drops them dead and there is no lingering smell.

I bought a few other products from the pet store and they didn't work. I went online and read the reviews about PT Ultracide and they were all good. The product was shipped out really quick. It works great! I sprayed the whole house and so far so good. I also had to put flea treatment on my cat and dog so the combination has been working.

I HAVE TRIED, AND AM STILL TRYING NEW DOG FLEA KILL... THIS IS THE FIRST YEAR THEY REALLY GOT IN THE HOUSE... I TRIED ALL THE STORE HOME SPRAYS TO NO AVAIL!!! ONE APPLICATION OF PT ULTRACIDE AND SOME VACUUMING AND WE ARE HOME FLEA FREE! NOW TO FIND A FORMULA FOR MY DOG THAT WORKS. I HAVE ANOTHER CAN FOR BACKUP, THIS SPRAY DRIED FAST AND DOESN'T SMELL HORRIBLE!

Let me be brutally honest. I have a few pets. And man the fleas would pull up a darn chair and watch tv with me. I tried countless and countless products. My brother gave me ultracide one day. I was why not. And havent seen a flea for 10 months. Great product.

First - want to say that PT Ultracide rocks and so does DMO Pest Control. I just had a little flea pop-up a full 9 months after quashing a heavy infestation. Ugh! Crap! Luckily I had a bit of a can of Ultracide left, so I could immediately zap the little buggers and lay down some more IGR in case these late bloomers dropped a few eggs. Sent away to DMOPC for two more cans post-haste that evening, and appreciated the quick delivery. Some tips for everyone: (1) follow the instructions, you just need a light spray on carpets, and under seat cushions on upholstered furniture. (2) Don't forget to spray the underside of your couch - learned this the first time. (3) You do NOT have to throw out your vacuum bag. I checked several County Extension sites affiliated with universities, and they say they USED to believe this, but now know it is not necessary. I still see lots of bad "throw it out" advice out there. Save yourself money and headaches and just keep vacuuming. (4) Move as much furniture as you can when you vacuum - that's a hiding place for fleas. Those $10 sliders at the hardware store will make this much easier. Consider stacking some furniture out of the way for two weeks so you aren't pushing it around every time. My local pest company FAILED to get rid of my fleas the first go-round (and second go-round) and I think the permethrin they sprayed damaged the finish on some of my wood furniture. It was Ultracide that did the trick. Easy to use, doesn't smell bad or perfumely and is very effective when you follow the directions. Have hope!

Extremely easy website. I use it once a month and have never had any trouble. It would be nice if a longtime, regular customer can get a discount. I can't afford to buy over $50 in product at once but I spend over $20 every month.

A local pesticide company highly recommended PT Ultracide for ridding my home of carpet beetles. I was skeptical and hesitant to buy it, but I am so very thankful that I did. I chose to use more cans than recommended, because by the time I identified the pests, they had destroyed an expensive area rug, new drapes, and many of my garments. DoMyOwnPestControl sells this fabulous product at a discount compared to the price I paid locally. My order was filled correctly and arrived timely. This product works extremely well, and it works fast. A few days after removing the source (an unopened carton of dog biscuits), removing the infested area rug, and vacuuming and spraying my house, I saw no more carpet beetles, which is a miracle. I can't say enough about this fabulous product. It literally saved my sanity and my remaining fabric furnishings.

Flees were defeated with PT Ultracide Great Product

The dog brought home flees from the groomer,washed and washed with flee shampoo but was still getting them, realized they were in the house now.we vacuumed then sprayed the carpet with stuff from PetSmart, no luck.Got PT Ultracide, one application and they were gone, not one left.Washed the dog with flee shampoo and done.Used less than one can for 2500SF house.I bought another can just in case.Time for a new groomer.

My home and I were itching from a first time flea growth. I tried everything I could naturally using diatomaceous earth and washing everything and vacuuming everything while treating our indoor only cat with Advantage flea meds. I thought that would limit it or eradicate. It didn't. They always came back and it was getting worse. I caved and decided to bring out the real stuff after hearing a friend talk about how effective Ultracide was in a huge flea infestation he had with a rental home that went hog wild with fleas everywhere. It came in the mail quickly and I did everything according to the label even though I resist using pesticides. I am so glad I did it. It was easy. I left the house and locked my cat up in a safe room for over half a day. No sign of fleas. I am rejoicing and no longer itching. My cat is happier too. Highly recommend! Use as directed. It's fast and easy once you do the prep ahead of time before spraying.

I had to spray my car. All those nooks & crannies were hard to get to. It doesn't spray upwards. I get bitten now only once a week. Where as before it was many times. per day. But none of the retail stuff worked. This really cut them down. Will have to do it again.

I bought every product I could from powders to flea bombs. I went and tried every spray they had at Home Depot and Lowe's and absolutely none of these worked. After the first application my flea problem was gone! Best product I ever used and first time I ever wrote about any product except this one!
