Product Overview

Send rats and mice to their deathbed in as little as 2 to 4 days with Quintox Rat and Mouse Bait Place Paks. Quintox Rat and Mouse Bait is made of a special advanced formulation that rats and mice find irresistible. The bait comes in the form of green-colored, fresh tasting, compressed pellets that hold up better than most baits in adverse and moist conditions, and have a long shelf life. The hardness of the pellet also satisfies a rodent’s desire to gnaw. Rodents open the place packs with their gnawing. The slender packs can be used in bait stations along rodent runways and in hard-to-reach locations. Packs can be opened also and the loose pellets poured down burrows.

Send rats and mice to their deathbed in as little as 2 to 4 days with Quintox Rat and Mouse Bait Place Paks. Quintox Rat and Mouse Bait is made of a special advanced formulation that rats and mice find irresistible. Quintox Rat and Mouse Bait comes in the form of fresh tasting, compressed pellets that hold up better than most baits in adverse and moist conditions, and have a long shelf life. The hardness of the pellet also satisfies a rodent’s desire to gnaw. Quintox Mouse Bait Place Paks come in polyglassine place pacs of various sizes that keep bait fresh and free from contaminating odors. Rodents open the place pacs with their gnawing. The slender place pacs can be used in bait stations along rodent runways and in hard-to-reach locations. Pacs can be opened also and loose pellets poured down burrows.

How Quintox Rat and Mouse Bait Works:
Quintox Rat and Mouse Bait contains the active ingredient Cholecalciferol, also known as Vitamin D3, which kills rodents by mobilizing calcium and producing death from heart failure within 2 to 4 days after consumption. A lethal dose of Quintox Rat and Mouse Bait can be consumed in a single feeding or accumulated in multiple smaller feedings over a period of days.

Use Restrictions: For control of Norway Rats, Roof Rats, and House Mice only. When used in USDA-inspected facilities, this product must be applied in tamper-resistant bait stations. Do not broadcast bait.

Where to Treat with Quintox Rat and Mouse Bait: Determine areas where rats and mice will most likely find and consume the bait. Generally, these areas are along walls, by gnawed openings, in or beside burrows, in corners and concealed places, between floors and walls, or in locations where rodents or their signs have been seen. Protect bait from rain and snow. Remove as much alternative food as possible.

To Apply Quintox Rat and Mouse Bait Place Paks:
RATS: Apply 2 to 8 place paks at intervals of 15 to 30 feet. Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for at least 10 days.
MICE: Apply 1 pak of bait at 8 to 12 foot intervals. Larger placements (up to 2 oz) may be needed at points of very high mouse activity. Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for at least 15 days.

FOLLOW-UP:
1. Several days after initial treatment, inspect the placement and replenish bait at sites where there is evidence of heavy feeding or where there is continued evidence of rodent activity. Continue baiting with Quintox Rat and Mouse Bait Pellets until all signs of feeding have ceased.
2. Replace contaminated or spoiled bait immediately.
3. Collect and dispose of all dead, exposed animals and leftover bait.
4. To prevent reinfestation, limit sources of rodent food, water, and harborage as much as possible.
5. If reinfestation does occur, repeat treatment.

Q
What if my dog gets into Quintox Rat and Mouse Bait Pellets?
A
Quintox Rat and Mouse Place Packs should only be used in tamper resistant stations or in burrows where your dogs do not have access. If a non-target animal consumes the bait it would need to be taken to the animal hospital immediately and the veterinarian would need the Quintox MSDS to know how to treat the animal.

Q
How often should I replace the packs in a USDA facility? I need a document that states that inside the Label.
A
We personally would recommend Terad3 blox for inside food facilities.  You can read the Terad3 product label here.  Terad3 is a new organic bait which is labeled for inside USDA facilities.  However, any time you use a bait inside a food facility it must be only used inside tamper resistant bait stations.  How often you should replace the bait all depends on how fast the rodents eat it.  You should always keep plenty of bait in the stations to support the amount activity that may be around.  You should never place bait where there could be a chance of contaminating any food.
