Rat/Mouse Control

I live in a 1950s ranch in Atlanta, GA. In my crawlspace it looks like there may be some rodent activity. I have recently heard them at night gnawing on things and scratching under the floors. What is my best method to get rid of these? Should I use bait stations and traps or just the bait stations? I want to avoid having a house that stinks due to dead rodents as well.

Answer:

We recommend using bait inside bait stations outside the home and using traps in areas directly under the house or in areas where you have seen the rodents traveling. Baiting outside the home with the single feed anticoagulant rodenticide Fastrac in the Protecta Rat Bait Stations is a great combination. Fastrac has a quick kill knockdown time of 12-48 hours after feeding. A great trap to use is the Trapper T -Rex Trap. Rodent Control Articles here
