How long does the pheromone last on the Roach Pheromone Traps (M330)?
How often should I change the Roach Pheromone Traps (M330) that I have put in one of my accounts?

A

After you place a trap out the pheromone will attract roaches for up to one month, but the glue in the trap will stay sticky for months until it becomes too full of roaches or until it becomes too dusty or dirty to catch roaches anymore.

Will Roach Pheromone Traps (M330) kill American cockroaches or just the German variety?

A

The Roach Pheromone Traps (M330) are specifically for German roaches and will be most effective for this type of roach. The Victor M327 would be more appropriate for your needs as it has both a pheromone and a food lure to attract multiple species of roaches and other insects.

We have a German Roach problem in our area. I am debating between two products --1 Victor Pheromone Traps and 2 Advion Dupont Roach Bait.
How long are each of these products effective? 4 to 6 months or less? Some of the reviews stated that the Victor traps were less effective in Florida -- is this the case? Thank you

1 Victor Pheromone Traps will trap german roaches. For complete control we recommend using Roach bait gel. Dupont Advion is a great option. The roach will come out pick up the bait and transfer the bait into the wall voids to other roaches, eradicating the roach colony. You may also be interested in our roach contol kit that includes advion roach bait, Demon Wp insecticide, and Gentrol Point Source IGR. You can apply the bait to counter tops, cabinets, behind toilets, under sinks. Demon WP would create a barrier by being sprayed to cracks, crevices, baseboards. Gentrol will stop the reproduction process.

The Roach Pheromone Traps (M330) - CASE (96 traps) are only available in the case of 96. An alternative would be Trap A Roach Hoyhoy Cockroach Glue Trap, which comes in a pack of 5 traps. These use a food bait rather than a phermone.

One of our roach control kits would be recommended for roach control. These professional kits include non-staining, low-odor concentrated insecticide for spraying the outside perimeter of the home and inside underneath appliances, behind cabinets, under toilets and sinks, etc. You'll also get Roach Bait Gel to help get rid of those roaches that like to hide. Baits can be applied up high in the kitchen in the corner of cabinets and in cracks and crevices in kitchens and bathrooms. The bait contains a slow-acting poison that attracts and kills feeding roaches, who also spread the bait to other roaches by contact or by sharing food. Finally, an Insect Growth Regulator is offered which will stop roaches from laying eggs, helping to halt the infestation. The combination of an IGR with roach bait is a highly effective roach control strategy that is widely used by pest control professionals. The insecticide must be applied with a 1-gallon pump sprayer.
