    What is the dilution rate for Roundup Custom Aquatic Terrestrial Herbicide?
    Sedge is the main plant growing in the pond. Do I need a surfactant as well?

    The dilution rate for Roundup Custom Aquatic Terrestial Herbicide for sedge is 2.3 fl oz per gallon of water. You will need to use a nonionic surfactant as well.  Please note that this product will not kill any submerged weeds.

    How many ounces of Roundup Custom Aquatic Terrestial Herbicide per gallon to kill cattails?
    I used the .75 ratio and it did not kill cattails.

    How long before weed is grown in area again?
    A
    Roundup Custom for Aquatic and Terrestial Use Herbicide does not leave any residual in the soil after it is applied, therefore the regrowth depends on the weed, weather conditions, and germination time frame. Dormancy during cooler seasons could prevent the weed from growing as fast as it would in the warmer months.

    You can use Roundup Custom Aquatic Terrestial Herbicide at the rate of 2 2/3 oz per gallon of water using a pump up or backpack sprayer.

    How long it takes for Roundup Custom Aquatic Terrestial Herbicide treated areas to dry completely depends on the weather and where it was applied but generally it should be dry within a few hours.  Best to keep out for at least 4-6 after application.

    I have a trout pond that has lots of weeds and algae growing from the bottom. Will Roundup Custom Aquatic Terrestial Herbicide kill them?
    Any recommendations?

    Roundup Custom Aquatic Terrestial Herbicide can be applied to emerged weeds in aquatic areas as directed on the product label but does not treat algae or submerged weeds.  Diquat would be a better option for those

    Can I use Roundup Custom Aquatic Terrestial Herbicide to control weeds around trees? Safe for trees?
    Also, do you have a herbicide that will control vegetation in our pond that is slightly submerged, not quite floating on top?

    Roundup Custom Aquatic Terrestial Herbicide can be used to control weeds safely around trees. Be sure to apply on a day that is less windy. This product can also safely be used in aquatic enivronements to treat NON SUBMERGED weeds. Be sure to apply to sections at a time. Diquat is more popular for submerged weeds.

    Do you apply when lilly pads are dormant or in the spring and summer while in full bloom

    Roundup Custom Aquatic Terrestial Herbicide should be applied to actively growing listed applications for the best results. It does not leave any residual in the soil after it is applied, therefore the regrowth depends on the weed, weather conditions, and germination time frame.     Can I mix together Roundup 41% with Roundup Custom which requires a surfactant and the other does not?
    A

    You do not need to mix multiple RoundUp products together since they have the same active ingredient. If you are treating around aquatic areas then you need to use a product such as RoundUp Custom which is formulated and approved for use around these areas.

    Roundup Custom Aquatic Terrestial Herbicide would work the same.  It just has aquatic sites listed on the label whereas Roundup Pro does not.

    What is the mixing ratio for Roundup Custom Aquatic Terrestial Herbicide to kill alligator weed?

    Roundup Custom Aquatic Terrestial Herbicide states on the product label for alligator weed, you would use 3 qt/acre or 1.5% for hand held solutions, which would be 2 oz per gallon of water.  Apply when most of the target plants are in bloom.  Repeat applications will be required to maintain such control.

    Is Roundup Custom Aquatic Terrestrial Herbicide safe to be used around cattle?
    A

    After reviewing the product label, Roundup Custom Aquatic Terrestial Herbicide can be used around livestock as long as you are following the instructions. For example, under the "Preplant, Preemergence, Pasture Renovation" section of the label, it states, "If the application rates total 4.5 pints per acre or less, no waiting period between treatment and feeding or livestock grazing is required. If the rate is greater than 4.5 pints per acre, remove the domestic livestock before application and wait 8 weeks after the application before grazing or harvesting." The product label also states under the "Spot Treatment, Over-The-Top Wiper Applications" sections, "To achieve maximum performance, remove domestic livestock before application and wait 7 days after application before grazing livestock or harvesting."

    How long it takes Roundup Custom Aquatic Terrestial Herbicide to kill weeds depends on the type, age and health of the target weed but is generally within 2 weeks.  You do want to apply in temperatures below 85 so best to do so in the morning before higher daytime temperatures.
