Roundup QuikPRO is labeled to control knotweed.
You can use Round Up QuickPro at the highest listed usage rate to help eliminatebamboo. You will be required to cut the bamboo down to a short stump and thenapply the Round Up QuickPro. It can take several applications to achieve the desiredresults.
RoundUp QuikPro is not labeled to control catbrier. Catbrier or Smilax is very difficult to control and usually requires a combination of digging and possibly mutiple herbicide applications over several years to eradicate the root system completely. The only product we have labeled for this plant is TVC Total Vegetation Killer. This product stay in the ground for up to one year, so you would only want to use it in areas where you don’t have or want any desirable plants for at least this long.

Yes, you can potentially add a pre-emergent herbicide to RoundUp QuikPro. Be sure you are using a product that is labeled for use in the area(s) you are treating and that you activate your pre-emergent with watering after about 24 hours.

Roundup QuikPRO is formulated as a water soluable granule that must be dissolved in water and applied with a sprayer.
Per the chart on page 8 of the product label for a 3 gallon sprayer, Roundup QuikPRO is applied at applied at 3.6 to 12 fl oz per 3 gallons of water depending on if you are treating annual weeds, perennial weeds, brush or for low volume directed applications.
If using a 1 gallon sprayer, the 1.5 fl oz rate per gallon of water would cover annual and perennial weeds.
Roundup QuikPRO can be used to kill actively growing grasses and weeds but will not prevent seeds from germinating in the soil. After spraying the weeds and grasses in the area, you can replant two weeks after an application of Roundup QuickPro.

Roundup QuikPRO only kills what is directly sprayed, there is no residual effects. You can seed a couple of weeks after initial application.
Roundup QuikPRO is a non selective herbicide that uses the active ingredient glyphosate. Glyphosate will typically kill anything it is sprayed on including ornamentals, turgrass, flowers, weeds, brush, etc.
If treating around desirable ornamentals, you need to take precaution measures to avoid any overspray or windrift onto deseriable plants. For weed control around ornamentals using Roundup QuikPRO, carefully spot treat weeds directly avoiding any contact with exposed roots, stems or foliage of plants.
After using Round Up QuickPro, you should wait 14 days to plant in the area if applied once. Wait an additional two weeks if used a second product application.
Once diluted, Roundup QuikPRO should be used or discarded within 24 hours of mixing.
Roundup QuikPRO is a non-selective herbicide that will kill everything including grasses like St Augustine grass.
Roundup QuikPRO will kill whatever it comes in contact with, including weeds, unwanted shrubs, etc.
